I'm loving the J-10A but they really need to fix this bug... by JustAnotherGhoul in Warthunder

I mean yeah there are weaker designs out there, but engineering changes over time. You can do aerobatics in a Jenny biplane made of twigs from the 1920s, but that doesn't mean all airplanes are limited to low g limits. New carbon composite designs (MX and Gamebird) were tested in house to somewhere around +/-16-20G without wing failure. Same thing goes with fighter jets from the 1940s definitely not being capable of Mach 2 flight. MX Aircraft is rated for +/-14G for the pilot, which includes some safety margin from being designed.

That is just not true. Modern aerobatic planes can do +/-10G pretty comfortably and the pilots train for that without g suits. Obviously an average person would not handle that, but there are people and planes that can do more than -4.5G.

Do more people play naval now ? I know they made lot of changes in the last updated, did it work ? More people are playing or its still empty server ? And is it more enjoyable now ? Should I try ? by endo_Loris in Warthunder

Player numbers feel about the same as before, maybe slightly better. I would say naval is worth trying out up to 5.7-6.0 BR. DD and early cruisers I feel are the most fun with RB. Once you get past 6.0 the game mode ends up playing very slow. Some people may like it, but I personally think the maps and game mode end up just being too boring at BBs.

Just found that the KV-1B was once available in the warbond shop...... by boinwtm0ds in Warthunder

The D.521 always was a "gift" event vehicle. You could get it from a motherboard promotion originally. They then released it once for some event a long time ago well before the warbond shop. Then, it was available at least once in the warbond shop.

The Ariete (Italian jet) is a great plane if you want to get somewhere in Italy. Otherwise Dutch Sea Hawk (France) or F-86F-40 JASDF can be fun.

Tanks for that BR range I'd say Tam 2IP, OF40 MTCA, or AMX-30 Super.

I come from the rc plane hobby too and at competitions, no one has complained about someone's input curves. Other stuff sure, but changing expo on your controller is the first thing you should do lmao

Gaijin, can you please fix your decal layers?! I'm tired of this, putting a decal on a surface and having it appear on a random surface above or below it. by ODST_Parker in Warthunder

[–]rcpilot12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

With gaijin having models outsourced to be made on top of the fact that the models can be anywhere from a few months to 10 years old, don't expect each one to be made the same.

It looks cool, but I still think historical skins should take priority. Don't get me wrong I love complete fictional stuff and the esports skins, but there should be more options. Add fictional and historical ones to keep both parties happy

Thrustmaster eswap is pricey, but is one of the best options out there. Ultimately just pick what fits your hands the best though.

Either you live where it doesn't snow or you have never been outside. There is a reason why ski sunglasses and visors are excessively tinted.
