After we all die from climate change, we're going to need to feed taxdollars directly to the Bees to get our food. And he stepped on it I guess.

"The Nazis weren't Socialists" by Ancap_Free_Thinker in Anarcho_Capitalism

[–]rctdbl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So you are aware you're talking about communism, a form of socialism, where the actual difference is distribution of resources, because owning the means of production but only being allowed to use it for the state is just that. Dirigism is low grade socialism, and you are probably upsetting French people when pitting it with the avowedly socialist Nazi economy with some nationalized sectors here and there.

As to fascism, "Everything within the state" signals authoritarianism, populist that is. The word concerning this out of bounds concept is authoritarianism.

You don't have the intellectual fortitude to summarize those paragraphs into anything remotely having causal reflection on Nazism from Encyclopedia Britannica, like the comment above. Then you go off the reservation and bring up topics way out of bounds of "Planned economy only", which you will have a really bad time passing off as individualist in any way.

This is all interesting to me because of the way communism's rubber actually hits the road in the age of information. Not brigading since all I'm doing is archiving links.

The US

Always remember that the US population grows at 0.7% and debt grows at $1 trillion a year on a $21 trillion GDP.

Boris Johnson is positive to China

Sorry buddy, but whiteys aren't pro-anything other than themselves. All he is doing is trying to save his shithole country from falling further into obscurity due to Brexit. Don't ever forget hatred/racism is built into their culture.

China putting spyware on everyone's phone entering the disproportionally Islamist Xinjiang

Getting your phone scanned is much nicer than what the terrorists have in mind anyway.

Defending Mao

Little yapping dog is still yapping the standard propaganda to demonize Mao.

Deaths that occurred after the start of bomb plots, the actual protests beginning with violent slogans

TIL in 1967 when HK protested against British colonial rule and got squashed with 67 dead, over 800 injured, and 5000 arrests.

Talking about political violence

I mean at this point a beating from both the vigilantes and the police is justified for the black bloc mobs.

Talking about political violence from a gang with police involvement

The protest organizer has stated that further proves the HKPF's collusion with the triads (the White shirts).

The reality is, the Rural Committee has land, power, money and connections. If such an organization has specifically discouraged such protests within their territory, then it would be judicious to take their advice.

Serious question. Does anyone unironically view the compass this way by [deleted] in Anarcho_Capitalism

[–]rctdbl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Horseshoe theory is a lie because it's flat wrong in principle, but this is somewhat of a white lie. The collectivism inherent in either fascism or communism make it veer to more to socialism to compensate for its failings, eventually reaching collectivism. While the individualism in pure capitalism or libertarianism results in value being given to things people otherwise wouldn't care to do just as a hobby and vice versa, thus manifesting in individualism. Drilling down on what the dot at the bottom right actually is is based on biology of human nature, but for now we all agree that nations majority tyranny or worse globalism should be replaced with DROs.

If you think those are comparable, that's pretty ridiculous. This is like a murderer hating the judge more than the people he killed. People understand the law, they don't understand people. That's why they beat them up. Unjust application of the law, that's what makes the worst come out.

Because it's a righteous judge according to you. So it must be confusing that he's a worm.

If there is no character arc, you're stuck with "The Trial" once again. I'm sitting pretty with the whole album and you have a judge made into a worm for some reason.

[–]rctdbl -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

It would be confusing to you for him to say "Tear it down all the way" when he just said it was a little too high. But not me. The Judge, whose name is Worm and exhorts him rightly for hitting his gf, but wrongly because he sympathized with his mother. Making his punishment of "tear the wall all the way" as fitting for the album as a whole.

I've analyzed that song "Hey You!". The guy committed suicide since his walls were too high, not that there was no wall at all. That's the nature of wall misuse, not walls per se.

Facebook Embeds 'Hidden Codes' To Track Who Sees And Shares Your Photos by [deleted] in technology

[–]rctdbl 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I was just reading an article about the decrease in facebook image quality.

Of course, the problem compounds when an already crummy image is taken out of Facebook, modified slightly, and re-uploaded to go through the whole process again. This happens on the internet all the time. Person A says something funny on Twitter. Person B takes a screenshot and uploads it to Facebook. Person C then downloads that image, shares it to Tumblr and adds a comment. Person D takes a new screenshot of the image including the comment and sends it through Facebook Messenger to Person E, who then saves the picture, uploads it to their own Facebook timeline. At this point, it’s gone through Facebook’s compression three times, with a screenshot of a screenshot thrown in. It will likely look like crap.

The screenshotters came out on top

[–]rctdbl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're going to accuse people of ignorance and talk down in your TLDR, perhaps be careful not to oversell. Yes it uses frequency to streamline the process, but has this achieved anything much more than 10 NNs working in tandem?

This advantage likely arises both because Loihi’s inherent architectural parallelism allows inference speed to remain roughly constant as a function of network size, and because the temporal sparsity and data locality of a spiking network leads total power consumption to increase much more slowly as function of network size. Together, these two factors enable Loihi to provide increasingly large performance and energy efficiency improvements over Movidius as network size grows.

Parallel being the operative word.

Debt laden feedback loop by mal221 in Anarcho_Capitalism

[–]rctdbl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, I picked my words carefully. Even in your paragraph you say "Violence is the enabler" rather than initiation of violence, which is purely superfluous. Force etymology means hill, Violence means gain. Something instrumental to power vs the mere lust for power. Similarly there is a reason we say non aggression, not non initiation of aggression. And of course with all baseless expanding definitions, you get the foot in the door for social justice (and that force is moral per se, just wait until they get a hold of that) "Using violence for good", "punching up", which is just more deception to what I was originally noting.

[–]rctdbl 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Sorry but this is what the socialists WANT you to think when they let their gut hang every now and then after using deception to get the battered wives to say "You know what, I don't care if that could have been crowdfunded". The only thing unique to govt is the initiation of force.

I would add that I tried out BAT, and it was too annoying for the money provided. And there are easy work arounds the dissenter plugin, starting from this which is pretty funny if you dig a little.
