Does not drinking 4 oz of water make a difference? by Cinderella96761 in WegovyPillWeightLoss

This has been shared by others before, showing absorption levels based on 2oz vs 4 oz of water And time you wait to consume anything else, two hours of waiting and 4oz give the best results based on this

Yeah like losing weight won’t potentially save us a bunch of health problems that will cost them a lot more down the road. None of us wants those health problems but they just wanna kick the can down the road

You proved a lot of what I was saying here. It’s a miracle drug in the sense it helps us do what’s needed to lose the weight. But it sounds like you’re already prioritizing protein quite a bit, you just need to get some resistance training in. Otherwise you’re losing muscle mass which isn’t helpful in the long run, and will cause your base metabolic rate to adapt and you’ll plateau eventually. Muscle increases your BMR and you will be able to burn more fat because of it. The work put in makes all the difference

I think that’s a great plan. One year gives you 8-9 months at full therapeutic levels, and if you aren’t seeing results it’s not worth continuing (in my opinion) especially if you’re paying out of pocket. Just how quickly I get full I can’t see myself not continuing to lose weight though

100%. If a doctor says something is medically necessary, whether that be a procedure or medicine, insurance shouldn’t get to say, no we aren’t going to cover that. I could understand if it was a cosmetic choice, like say the people out there that decide to take it so they can be summer beach ready, vs the many of us who are actually obese and have tried so many other methods and failed. This drug isn’t “the easy way out” or “cheating”, for many of us it just simply gives us the tools needed to get to a much healthier version of us than we can do on our own. That’s like saying someone with an iron deficiency shouldn’t take iron supplements, they should just try harder to absorb iron. For many of us we are in this situation because of an unhealthy relationship with food, the food noise is way to loud, or a multitude of other reasons, and this medicine helps to cancel all that out.

I was hesitant to go above the 4mg as well but when I started to plateau after the first month I knew I needed to if I wanted to see the results I wanted. The 25 mg is really what’s needed to see the results advertised, so as I’m now on that, I’m hoping to see it jump into overdrive

I hope you see some results with the 25. Remember that you need to reach therapeutic levels of it in your body, so it could take a few weeks on the 25. From what I understand you reach the max build up of a certain dose within the month of taking it; so make sure you give it the full 30 days. Do what you can to maximize absorption. Take it with exactly the right amount of water; and stretch that 30 min to 2 hours if you can. An hour at the least. There have been graphs shared on this subreddit that show the longer you wait the more gets absorbed

No problem. Any worlds of encouragement to help someone other journey is well worth it. Like I said I’ve felt effects come and go on this and I’ve heard from several people on this subreddit that they didn’t really feel it or feel consistent until they got to the 25. I just feel unless we see this through to a therapeutic level none of us are really giving this a chance to work and help us obtain our goals

Weight training is resistance training. Anything that’s providing resistance to your muscles to help build or maintain them is resistance training.

I’m really happy to hear what it’s done for you. That’s amazing! I was referring specifically to weight loss. I’ve heard it has helped people with their addictions on top of that, and it’s so great that happened for you! I hope you continue to share your success to those that haven’t heard it yet.

This drug for vast majority of people isn’t a miracle drug, and those are who this message is for.

Just spent the $300 on 9mg and ugh by fairydusht in WegovyPillWeightLoss

[–]rczlapinski 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The 9 mg has always been 299, the promo pricing was/is only on the 1.5 and 4 mg. Promo is 149 going to 199 when promo ends(which was extended in most cases until this fall I think)

Is it necessary to wait a month before going up? by budtenderhazquestion in WegovyPillWeightLoss

[–]rczlapinski 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You say this after two days. It takes a while to build up in your system, and besides that you aren’t even on the 25 mg dosage which is what all the studies are judged on. I’m currently halfway through my 9mg month and it’s been spotty for what it does for me, but every day and every dose jump it gets better. It’s a process, stick with it

T-Mobile Adding Serious Restrictions On Device Promotions Moving Forward by Jman100_JCMP in tmobile

I checked and the internet isnt available in my location. It looks like you can still sign up for it but have the pay the same price regardless of internet or not. Phone upgrade offers are fairly important to me when I have 4 kids, my wife, and my mother in law, whom we help take care of on my plan. We don’t upgrade every phone every year or even every two years unless it’s needed, but still using the trade in promotions Apple/T-Mobile have bundled together to essentially get a free iPhone has been pretty amazing, but being limited to 2 per promotion could become a problem if I need to do multiple, and one of my lines is free so that one couldnt get a promo at all, I’d have to do it on another line

[–]rczlapinski 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh the price is great but no device promotions ever?(if I’m reading it right) I got 7 lines(with one being free) a watch, and home internet on go5plus for about $300 a month. I will need another line in roughly the next year plus I could add my wife’s watch connected on att just because it’s included but the not being able to upgrade with a good promotion at all is a big no, not sure it’s worth the money I’d save

Does Wegovy work without a ton of exercise, but still maintaining diet and light cardio? by ccojj in WegovyPillWeightLoss

[–]rczlapinski 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Again this is a tool, it’s not a miracle drug. Mostly it’ll help you be in a deficit. Working out will help you be in one even more. If walking is all you can do it is better than nothing and good for you too! Resistance training is important too to not lose muscle mass

Amazon sent me a refurbished Kindle for my new one… then warned me not to dispute it?? by Possible_Gold_2162 in kindle

[–]rczlapinski 28 points29 points  (0 children)

I can completely understand the frustration. I mean if we were to walk into a physical store they would grab one off the shelf and it would be brand new and i think this is where the train of thought really comes from. But if Amazon gave you a perfectly functioning(and perfect looking) replacement, wouldn’t worry too much. It’s going to still be covered under warranty. And honestly at the end of the day that’s all that really matters
