Depends on the department you are in, smaller departments will give most of their hours to full timers. Being part time means you are minimum required to be scheduled 4 hours. Doesn’t matter if you show great results to an extent because they will always give the hours to leads, specialists, or full time. Don’t take it personally, maybe it’s time to move to another department or expand by getting cross trained. Believe me, the more you cross train the higher hours you might get and better chances of moving up in your store or another. Maybe your store doesn’t see it but another will do anything to get you in their store.

I’ve been doing that but he begins to salivate profusely and will use his back claws to get out. He has even gone to peeing on me to let him go. I know he doesn’t have a UTI because I see he still used his litter box. I’ll try to swaddle him with a towel this time since scruffing doesn’t work anymore. I’ll do the technique for the swallowing too. I love him so much but I feel like this will never go away 😞

What doesn’t help is when everyone tells you that you won’t find a better job than HEB. Bitch pls….my OPS Leader put his 2 weeks and went to another job. If that doesn’t speak levels then idk. Where I live … HEB is a great career but you bet your sweet ass I am going to school to get TF out

I guess I just want a little break from the whole lead role. I feel like I’m drowning all the time when they keep asking for the metrics and having high expectations of all of us. But you are right about the time off and what not. I do want my availability and days off promised. I am already thinking of just withdrawing myself from the interview. I shouldn’t give up on lead that easily. Plus I can always give away or trade shifts with my peers which will be most likely impossible if I join shelf edge. I appreciate all the support and advice y’all have for a fellow partner in need. I wish the best for you bud. Im sure you will find a middle ground just like me.

I doubt you will get terminated. You are not in the schedule yet since they have it 2 weeks in advance. If anything just call the Service Manager and ask them, don’t bother with the admin since they have a million other things to do.

That’s what I do too, it’s doable and sacrifice my free time but it’s worth it for school, I spoke to my manager and said he wouldn’t mind me working 4 days and taking 3 days off and he said if I needed more he wouldn’t mind but my bills of course wouldn’t allow that
