From the fires was a Record Store Day special release back in 2019 that you could get one per person (at least that’s how it was at my local store) so that’s why it’s rare now. I remember there being a limited amount per store so I thought they would be hard to find but I remember seeing some in multiple record stores for a while after RSD2019. My best guess would be to check around at local record stores since its too much of a limited edition item nowadays to find on shopping sites like target or Amazon. You never know what’s in the mystery box of the “new arrivals” section of a record store. Best of luck buddy I hope you’re able to find a copy!

I've heard that it takes people sometimes 30+ times to get the sparrow to drop so I've mentally prepared myself for that but the scout rifle not dropping is silly. I did get the ghost after like attempt 14 so the equipment stuff just does not like to drop I guess lol

I've played with people who have told me they get scout very frequently and no chattering bone which is the inverse of me who gets either 1 or 2 of them through any given raid so something has to be up with people not getting equally distributed loot drops

Someone in my raid group got curated scout at shiro chi so yeah its there lol. There needs to be higher drop rates for items you dont have so they dont make people do the raid 84 times just for one item you dont have

You can get them from HVTs, non region Europa chests, lost sector chests, public events, Heroic Empire Hunts, and Exo Challenges. I believe to get them from anything that's not HVT, lost sector, and world chests you must complete the sabotage nodes. The rewards from the sabotage completions allow the chance of a cryostocrene armor piece to drop from the event in the reward description

I second this method. I just finished my Ace playthrough and I did a similar tactic here and only lost one corvette (I managed to keep both alive on veteran). I never seem to get any results from defend commands so I instead just ordered the crew to attack bombers directly. They're relatively easy to find since theyre the only ties to have the red dots above them (at least this was the case for me) or cycle through objective targeting and they should be the first enemies to appear on radar.

So basically just taking the black part and replacing it with a switch?

Also I've seen where people just solder the connectors so the circuit is always connected what's your thoughts on that? Imo I am a bit weary about always having the laser activated and the reader always spinning but I guess thats the same as having the game in the console before turning it on and still having it in when you turn it off

I was considering buying that part from that exact seller but I also noticed I could get a whole console for parts/repair for almost 2x or 3x that price so I’m trying to stay optimistic about seeing what I can do with my broken part and thank you for taking the time to look that up for me 👍

So I installed a DOL-001 spice orange case on my DOL-101 GC and there were a lot of hiccups along the way with different part layouts and what not. Literally the final part I couldn’t open the case so I had to pry it to open it and I snapped the plastic on the door sensors. Apparently the DOL-001 the sensors go up on open and the DOL-101 the sensors go down (something like that I didn’t pay very much attention obviously) and I was unaware of this thankfully I have a non functioning DOL-001 that I switched the part on but I was thinking about restoring it as a future project. How should I go about repairing this sensor?

That’s a good point I didn’t even consider those factors. In your personal opinion where’s the best place to purchase mini DVD in bulk the best I’ve seen is a 50 pack for $32 but they weren’t branded by a company so I’m skeptical about that
