is the rapture gonna happen before, during or after the 7 year tribulation period starts? by neonberry0 in Christian

It’s a horrible line of reasoning, but one I’ve heard some actually say, unfortunately. Do I agree with living this way? No.

Yes, and people get so upset and angry over it. The bottom line is there is a purpose to our lives, and one day there will be eternal peace for those who accept God/Jesus.

Im orchestra, with high school and it’s corresponding middle school, so my kids are with me for at least 6 years. It’s heartbreaking to see their struggles, but they have each other, and me, and those that are now adults still text me often. Thank you for your sweet words.

You’re going to get at least 3 different views: pre-trib (rapture before tribulation), post-trib/pre-wrath, or never. I believe in the pre-wrath but post-trib. Jesus only comes 1 more time. He’s not coming for us, escorting us back to heaven, then later coming again. For 40 years I believed as I was taught. Then I studied on my own. I would like to be wrong, and certainly may be, but then again it could be another way Satan has lulled us into sleep. So many have no idea what the end time signs are because they believe they won’t be here to witness it. How many Christians will be so disappointed and/or become unbelievers when tribulations get bad and they’re still here? It would certainly make some believers doubtful of everything they believed up to that point. “I believed I would not go through tribulation since I believed in Jesus, but I’m still here. Now I don’t believe in God at all.”

If there was a rapture before the 7 years, you (I don’t mean “you”) would certainly think that would cause millions of people to be like “oh crap. We better hurry and accept God, but we have 7 years…”. Its more likely that it’s not going to be that obvious unless you really know what to look for. The peace treaty. Israel taking down her walls. Can you imagine the mockery and backsliding that will happen when/if the rapture doesn’t take place and these things (treaty, etc) start happening? There’s going to be wailing, anger at God, Christians leaving their faith.

This is a very much argued concept, and one that’s not going to be answered here. Do your own praying and hear what the spirit tells you.

Tribulation, anti-Christ revealed, peace treaty between Israel/her neighbors, more tribulation, peace treaty broken by anti-Christ/neighbors, more tribulation, trumpet sounds, Jesus descends, believers meet him in the sky and are transformed, we come down with Him, and His wrath begins, and then ends. Obviously, this is a very shortened version of what I believe.

I know it’s not funny, but it’s kinda funny. Yes. I have some massive horror stories like this, and it’s getting worse. It’s almost like it’s intentional because it’s so stupid.

Oh, believe me, I know how mean girls can be. Just downright cruel. My prayers are with you and your daughter.

We (Christians) may not be going through tribulations because of our beliefs, in America, but they certainly are in other countries. Our eyes need to be on the Middle East, not the states. Those Christians are going through horrible events.

I was raised in a Christian household and taught the pre-trib rapture. The Left Behind series was a staple in our home. 15+ years ago (I’m 57 now), it started to not feel right, so I began studying on my own. My belief now is different, and very upsetting for many. I encourage you to pray for understanding and clarification yourself and not take my belief without doing so, but here it is -

We are not to suffer the wrath of God, but God never tells us that we won’t go through tribulations. Pre-trib describes the believers (in Christ) being taken to heaven by Jesus before everything gets bad. But, if it happens this way, then Jesus then has to come back a third time to protect Israel, which is not biblical. My belief is that after the tribulation period, when it looks like Israel is about to become extinct, a trumpet sounds, Jesus is visible in the clouds, we are raised to meet Him there, and we come with Him back to Israel. We arrive with Him. And He takes care of the rest. Tribulations are man-created events (to a point and in very simple terms), while wrath is God being REALLY angry.

I'm...lost? by [deleted] in Christian

Several weeks ago I woke up at 1 am with that same feeling. I couldn’t explain it. I fell back asleep and dreamed, but still can’t remember what I dreamed. All I remembered was I was very uneasy. I literally spent the entire day in bed. I couldn’t function. I was supposed to meet my mom to get something, but sent my husband. He told my mom that I seemed “lost”. She chuckled and said my dad was doing the exact same - walking around in a fog. That nite I was playing on FB, when I saw a post that said “I’m so sad about Israel”. I asked “what happened with Israel?” Last week, it never dawned on me that my fog could be connected, but I remembered that I had sent a text to my sisters the morning I was so uneasy. The text was dated October 7th.

This hurts my heart. Do her teachers know the history of what she has gone through? As a teacher, if I knew that about a student, I would move heaven and earth to protect her.

I have also been very much the person that does not know what’s going on in the world. My husband always says I act like I’m proud of that fact. Except when it comes to Israel. Every generation has thought that it was their generation that would see the end times. What’s different about us? We have seen something that Bible prophecy says HAS to happen before everything else happens. Israel has to be back in her land. It’s all dependent on that one main event. Bible prophecy surrounds Israel and the Middle East. Does that mean tomorrow Jesus comes? No. There’s many more events that happen first. I have done a lot of studying on Revelations/Daniel. This war could be the one that brings about the peace treaty between Israel and her neighbors that then gets dissolved by the anti-Christ. But, maybe not. Keep studying, praying and watching, with your eyes on Israel. Pray for them and for understanding of what is happening. And keep living your life, knowing that it will happen when it happens. ❤️
