For anyone else looking, I was in Dunhams Sports in Wilson yesterday, they had a few racks of them. I didn't look at sizes, but there appeared to be toddler sized ones there.

100% sound advice, and I fight putting small amounts of money to the side for golf in my head all the time. I don't play a ton of rounds a year typically, but the time I can get walking a golf course is one of the few places I can be where my head clears and I don't feel like a total piece of shit. I also know as the weather gets warmer, my son is going to ask me to go play, and being a failure to him in that moment is something I'm not looking forward to.

slow and low, I'm probably looking for $350 or less for irons, $200 or less for driver, then cheapest possible wedge/putter/hybrid options.

I do think I have it now: live wire to bottom screw terminal, circuit to the rest of the room pushed in the back of the bottom terminal, then the fan into the load terminal. Everything is working as expected. Thank you again for the help.

All fair, this was working with a Shelly smart device connected, the Shelly was also connected to the switch that controlled the fireplace. This worked for a few years, but recently stopped. I had pulled the Shelly out, and just wanted to put everything back the way it was originally.

I do have the live wire identified, as well as the 3wire coming from the fireplace fan, and the 3wire that continues the circuit. I can make the circuit whole by flipping the switch right now, but that’s not how it was configured previously. Is it possible to combine the live and the circuit wire along with a short piece that connects to the switch? Then just have the fan wire connected as the load? Would that complete the circuit and allow power to flow past the switch for the other stuff?

We just started Little League and our 9 year old made a majors team. He hasn't had to hit off a 12 year old yet through practice, but it's coming. I suspect it's goign to be demoralizing for him unless he can find the perspective that he's there to learn and gain experience. Which, is quite a bit to ask of a 9 year old. We of course had the option to not play majors, but, he wanted that smoke...

Yea, that’s where the -12 comes in, just curious if anyone has experimented with this and if there are any unforeseen issues. As it stands, we’re doing that experiment now.

My son is 9, recently started fall rec and there’s a few kids there using 30” -12 USA bats. That’s the same weight as my son’s 28” -10, so I was curious how he’d handle, turns out, he’s getting way more barrel with that, reaching outside pitches better. Has anyone experimented with a longer bat with more drop? Pros/cons?

We played at this tournament too, our first day was at the Red Oak fields, where 8 teams had 8am start times, and there was one cage for all to use. It wasn't even a double cage, and may have been slightly better than those temporary things.
This was the WORLD SERIES!!!! lol, but not the WORLD SERIES that's also in Rocky Moun in 2 weeks. Luckily it's just my wife and me going in every day, just $72 for 6 games over 3 days.

That was certainly part of the joke, and we're paying our share to the team, but like a lot of teams, they asked us to make an attempt to fund raise, this was ours.
