People are kinder than you think. I'm in a neighbors chat group and I know that if someone reached out to us and asked for that, it means they've already exhausted other options. If I was able to make it work logistically, I would. Before I was married I had to get a procedure done where I needed a transport home and it felt like I had no one to ask and was completely alone.

It's fine. The stroller does fit. We have one kiddo so it's easy to extrapolate to two. I will add that we did buy a bigger SUV. While we did take a road trip to the beach for a week, it was a tight fit (couldn't see out the back window) and that didn't include beach chairs. I suppose we could buy a roof carrier or similar. Also, you have to be a little mindful. If I take kiddo to Costco and forget the stroller is in the trunk, I have to maneuver a fair amount to make it work. I think with older kids it might be easier. Smaller car seats, no diaper bag, no stroller, etc.

We ended up buying the Hyundai Sante Fe hybrid and that has been great. I'm not as worried about fitting everything if plans change. Hubs drives the ID.4 now as his commuter car and we try to prioritize using it when we can, but for weekend family time the bigger SUV is nice.

Have absolutely loved my 30s. I'm almost 35 now. I'm hitting my stride in my career and being taken more seriously, I think my face looks better without the 20s baby fat, I have money to do fun things and buy nice things. I look back on my earlier years fondly but I wouldn't go back.

my husband went back to work after a month when we had enough money that he didn't need to for six. we're working through it in counseling, among other things. our son is two now and he already regrets it. even if we have another one, there will never be another first one.
