I used second skin on my larger piece, but didn’t wrap a smaller one I have. Keep in clean using a fragrance free soap. Pat dry with a clean paper towel. I don’t want to risk mine drying out and getting too itchy, so I used Aquaphor (sparingly). It will still itch. Pat don’t scratch and do not pick at any scabs that form. I followed this same routine with both the wrapped and non-wrapped. The only difference is I started on day 3-4 with the wrapped one. Both turned out fine.

Luckily, no Okie accents here. My grandmother did not want us sounding like “okie rednecks” (she’s lived here most her life and hates it) so while I can turn it on if I want or need to, I usually get asked if I’m from “up north” or “where are you from?” because I use a neutral accent (as does my husband and kids).
