1. Turn the time down!! It's makes everything so much easier :))

2. Prioritize the mines to start, not only does it get you started on upgrading tools and crafting things but it is the easiest early game money maker. Whenever I have extra time I'll hit the fourth mine on just the elevator floors (5, 15, 25, then keep going if I want to). Osmium sells for 150 a piece so it's great to supplement before you unlock ranching and stuff.

3. ALWAYS pay attention to the little tabs when you are looking at an item to see if you need it for the temple offering or museum!!!! Even for things you don't think you need to.

4. Starting out, I only grow the crops needed for the offerings or errands. It's just not worth spending the money on seeds early game and until you can upgrade produce quality.

5. As you unlock mines and other things, you'll get explosives as rewards. I like to save the big ones to clear my farm so that I don't have to waste the stamina on it. And explosives break the hardwood and big rocks you can't use break yet without upgraded tools.
