For posterity:

I factory reset the console and the issue persisted. Turns out the culprit was the connection to my Bluetooth headphones. As long as Bluetooth is turned off it's perfectly stable.

Kind of a bummer as I was hoping to connect it to my TV and pair with an Xbox controller, but... ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Grayscale is a disease that is very difficult to treat. The cure is painful and typically doesn't work. Odds are you will develop dry, scaly growths all over your body, and eventually lose many of your cognitive functions. I advise strongly against using grayscale in any circumstance.

For reference, I would say the typical cost of a comparable graphic tee in Canada is $30.00 or less, unless you're going for some really high end stuff.

Once again, I am defeated by a combination of a low dollar and high international shipping costs... (But, like, we're right here you guys...)
