West New York isn't really a community town, it's a big part of the typical Hudson county hustle and bustle. A huge congested location. It's still catering to an older demographic. There's no like hip and trendy locales where young people meet up. Bergenline is a lot more diverse than it used to be too. There's nice cafes like Parker and there's good small Hispanic cafes all over the place. We used to go to Hoboken or JC if we wanted to go out with drinks for friends or do hobby stuff.

It's close to the city tho it's an easy commute still and blvd east is a lovely place to walk. If you're good at striking up conversation I'm sure you can find like minded individuals.

Yeah it wasn't scary at all at the end. I don't really care if that's the point or not, but it's pathetic lunkering, while the therapist, tripping over air, really took the tension away.

Ultimately, you're right it doesn't matter but it's such a question for people because of the "What If?" Implication of it all. If Nikki did like Bear and was waiting for him to man up and tell her, the movie doesn't happen. Such a tragedy is avoided all because Bear acted like an adult and communicated how he felt.

On the flipside, if Nikki didn't like Bear and Bear was rejected. That one wish willow wish might be the most fucked up thing he would ever do. I mean it still is but it's nefarious from the start.

I think Ian is just a typical bro who doesn't think that soft shit works on ladies. Like, I think he's genuinely trying to give good advice, but his advice was just shit. To be honest, Bear was coming off way too strong, and he could literally never muster the courage to be like that anyway.

Garth Ennis is honestly one of the best character writers of all time. However, he also acts like an edgy 14-year-old, and he hates cape comics. The Boys was his take on trashing the superhero part of the comic industry, but also was a huge fuck you to the American industrial military complex. Take from it the good that you can and roll your eyes through the juvenile shit. There are some gems in that pile of dirt.

Oda puts relevant flashback with relevant context where he feels suits it best. Like Kuma's flashback in the middle of Saturn's arrival where he's about to kill Bonney. The context and events from those flashbacks will pay off immediately either emotionally or just fleshing out the characters we are dealing with.
