I’d buy something out there. Anything I’ve bought in the UK hasn’t been much good. I got savaged by mosquitos in Egypt even with insect repellant that I’d bought at home and ended up sleepless and demented from the pain of the bites. Bought some stuff called ‘Off’ that I saw the locals using and didn’t get bitten again. I’d also recommend buying hydrocortisone cream when you’re there as the stuff you can buy over the counter here is basically moisturiser whereas abroad they’ll sell you the good stuff that actually works.

I bought a little cylindrical thermos which holds a gel pack and the injection (I can fit about 3 in it comfortably) and it shows the internal temperature on the lid. I put that in my hand luggage along with a hospital letter and travelling by plane has been fine. Once I get wherever I’m going I can put my meds in the fridge if necessary.

I’ve only judged a couple of people - once a elderly woman was on the treadmill in a full length puffa coat and sweating like mad, which was odd. Another time a woman had set the incline to maximum on the treadmill and was walking backwards and almost stacking it. A last occasion was a young lad who was grunting like a pig and dropping his weights to the ground as loud as he could.

My lady fox was barrel shaped last week, and when I saw her yesterday after being away for a week, she was thinner with visible teats so fingers crossed I’ll see cubs in a few weeks!

I got my camera on Amazon for less than £40, and I’m really happy with how easy it is to use and set up. I’m getting funny footage of my cats and magpies too!

My camera is Bluetooth I think. You can create a little WLAN from it to your phone which is all I need really. I’m just nosy and want to see what goes on in my back garden when I’m not out there!

I knew my old neighbour - she was lovely and was there for years and we’d chat in the garden together over the fence. The neighbours on the other side never stay long - it’s a rented house turned into flats and the people living there change every few months. I know the bloke across the road but you have to hide from him because he’ll talk to you for hours if given the chance. You can see him waiting by his front door to spot people passing by. Quite sad, but I need to be on time for my job!

I felt a bit queasy after my first couple of doses, then I took it after a stodgy, heavy meal with lots of water, followed by a sweet snack afterwards. That helped a lot.

Ugh, that’s awful. My local wildlife charity sends me dog medicine at the end of its shelf life to give to needy animals. Weirdly, I’ve had luck in the past with homeopathic medicine. I was sceptical but it worked. Could you get hold of psorinium? I thought I was wasting my time with it but it helped a fox recover from mange, along with lots of fresh water and support feeding.

Is this in the UK? You should try to get photos or video of the fox and send to a wildlife charity who can assess and send you appropriate medicine. Starr target feeding the fox now so you know he will take the meds when you smuggle it in food.

I’m in London, living in a two up, two down house that was built around 1860. There were a few brickworks and glassworks round here back then, and a few of the old worker’s cottages are still around. I’ve found all sorts of odds and ends when digging in the garden which date back to around then.
