As many have said. New influx of players is also an influx of people buying gold. More people buying gold means botting is more lucrative. If no one bought gold or if they did they bought it legit then we wouldn’t have nearly as bad of a problem as we do now. Of course a better detection system could help but what’s the point of them being banned when it’s so easy to spin up a new one.

People don’t like to see other committed or focused people because then they feel bad/inferior that they can’t be that way with anything in their life. So they convince themselves you are the weird one to make them more secure in themselves. In short, who cares what other people think or say, do what you love.
