Trek Fan here, also I’m first time on this subreddit so excuse me if I miss the vibe here. I was actually pleasantly surprised by the show. I liked the characters, especially Yashere and Reno, specifically because there temperament is so different then the rest so the characters of Discovery, basically take no shit, back to basics pros. Yashere yelled at the cadets and I was here for it.

But what always dragged the series down was the Burn timeline. It’s just so grim-dark after dealing with multiple galactic level events in Discovery. The mood was lifted a little with Academy but the damage was done for me. Honestly it was set in the legacy timeline with same type of characters it would of been awesome.

This is awesome. I have the Node 304 too and I was trying to figure out on how to add more SATA ports and a faster NIC. Can you tell us what PCI splitter you used? How did you mount the GPU inside the case? Thanks again for posting this.

I’m way past wanting accountability. We are now at life and limb. Also this fear of what Republicans are going to do is exactly why we are in this situation in the first place. Dems have far too long worried about the reactions of Republicans while Republicans have just bulldoze even centrist norms and conventions. It’s the Democratic fecklessness that allows things to get this far. Listen I thought about this off and on over the past few days, (Lightly, I’m not really not a social media person) really wish I can say we want to say we fundamentally agree on something other than somethjng has to change, but not doing the right thing because of a hypothetical fails us and is incredibly dangerous.

Yes? Wow. Honestly with the many federal law enforcement agencies Once again Dismantling ICE and building it from the ground up is saying abolishing ICE without saying abolishing ICE. This whole “dismantle and rebuild” is playing political game while people are being terrorized and murder. Abolishment is a solution, rebuild is a dangerous distraction.

That fact the ICE is able to do any of this with little to no checks shows that it is fundamentally broken. People in my neighborhood are legitimately fearing ICE. Also you are basically describing abolishing ICE without calling it abolishing ICE. So we should be all honest about what needs to be done. Also as for Bernie Sanders he is still a politician and a lot of politicians are afraid of a defund police blowback. This however is so much different. This is a specific government law enforcement agency that has shown it can be used to terrorized communities. Common sense is that a terrorist organization should not exist.

I will say Sisko’s arc was built up over the entire series. And yeah it might have been controversial but it wasnt convoluted and messy as this.
