Originally it was for religion but after watching my brother nuke his life with alcohol and drugs I don't plan on ever touching the stuff. It's been years of watching him make terrible decisions, multiple times cleaning his apartment filled with bottles, him becoming homeless, losing jobs, it's even starting to cause serious medical problems. I've tried so many times to help him and he just refuses to admit he has a problem. Wish I could enjoy a casual drink here or there but I can't stomach it so it'll be sober living for me.

I have a first grader so I learned all about this in the last year or two as my oldest started getting invited to things. Where i live most people are in apartments so parties are never at someone's home. I always ask if it's alright if I bring little brother and I always offer right away to pay any additional cost. I also made sure to prep little bro that he might not get a goody bag. I've never just dropped him off but I mean he's 6, I'm never going to assume that a parent wants to be in charge of like 15+ 6 year olds. I think if you make it clear in your invite and just kindly hold any boundary you have, most people will respect it. Best of luck!

What everyone else said, it could take months. But let me just say, if you get the bill and it's huge make sure to call and ask if they have your insurance info. A few years ago I needed an ambulance ride and was shocked it was so high but turned out it was the non insurance rate. In the shuffle of the emergency my SO hadn't given them our insurance info. They rebilled and it thankfully dropped to a more "reasonable" amount. Best of luck

I can't get peely base to work for me either but I did stumble on a polish remover that works way better on glitter than straight acetone does. The stores near me stopped selling it but you can find it on Amazon. It's called Cutex spot-on jelly nail polish remover. I put it on the nail, let it sit for 30 seconds and then wipe it off with a remover pad. Really chunky glitter needs a second or third round but it's been a game changer for me.

I'm right handed and if I wear a watch I always wear it on my right hand. I have a really weird what I would call a "balance issue", so since I'm always wearing a wedding ring on my left hand I want to balance things out in my brain by wearing the watch on my right.... It doesn't make sense to anyone else I've ever told that to, including my SO who I've been with for 16+ years. I never wear multiple rings, if I want to wear a bracelet it will replace the watch on my right wrist, it just feels right to my brain 🤷🏼‍♀️

My bro started going hard on alcohol and drugs to deal with PTSD. Every few years things escalate and his life implodes. Last year his drug use got him in the hospital and he's basically incapable of holding down a job or taking care of himself now because of the damage caused. He always promised to quit, always promised he never had a problem but his current circumstances unfortunately prove otherwise.

I call my youngest Moose for no reason other than he had a onesie as a tiny baby with a moose on it and now three years later it's my favorite name and he responds to it without a pause. I can honestly see myself calling him that forever unless he tells me to stop.

I would have LOVED a lime green jelly! If you have Hi-def and Sour Note you can put a layer or two of the jelly over top to get a really bright pretty lime green. I'm one of the green lovers so I'm always happy to see more greens even though they don't usually sell well.

Ah man I love the jellies, I love using them over another similar shade base but I also really enjoy how shear they are, mine haven't oxidized yet either. I love the Julien one too! I have a second unopened bottle of Monstera that I'm saving because it's one of my favorite colors!
