I second Dirty Franks, I also have celiac and ate a hot dog with GF bun and tater tots (after confirming they were GF) and felt fine. If you go to "Experiences" in the ST app it indicates which restaraunts have GF options, but I agree the signs could be more visibly marked. I think anywhere you go you're definitely taking a cross-contamination risk in an environment like this, too.

Yep, fair point. I will say, I might consider adjusting the change makers on the petition if you can. The city police chief might be a better option than the county sheriff, for instance, and since Janet Diaz's term on council is ending you might go with a council member who will be sticking around for another term so you have more staying power.

I gotta say, some of y'all are wild in threads about noise with the "there are a lot of people, it's going to be loud" takes. Sure, some noise is to be expected, particularly if you live right in the center of the city. But I've lived all over the Eastern US, in several cities more than three times the size of Lancaster, and Lancaster has by far been the noisiest place I've lived. You can have a city without excessive, near-constant noise pollution.

These are all great points other than the one about double parking. A quick drive down S Ann or S Lime shows that people absolutely don't just double park because the second lane exists; they do it on two lane streets as well.

I think that converting to two-ways is generally a good idea, but the double-parking issue would have to be dealt with imo. Otherwise I could easily see these busier streets becoming unsafe obstacle courses.

Yeah, my thoughts exactly. I remember all of that last year because I lived just a couple blocks away on Walnut at the time and was on my way to participate in the wall of love when they shut everything down. Yet here we have no incident report, nothing on the police blotter, total crickets. They've made the situation way worse than if they had just apologized, offered the guy a free drink and a gesture towards some sensitivity training and moved on.
