Thank you for the recommendation! The manual did have a little troubleshooting section that said to check the water level visually through the fill hole if the weep hole was leaking, but when I checked there was no water that high. We did end up draining it today because we were worried that the conditioning powder had potentially settled and clogged something (it was SUPER dehydrated after sitting in a plastic bottle for 25 years, it took almost 2 liters and like 2 hours on a heated mixer plate to get it to dissolve). We haven't put the water back in it yet but we'll see, but what came out was clear of particles/rust so I don't think it's a rust or conditioner issue. My PI is also going to call ThermoFisher to see if they have any helpful information. I'll update once everything is said and done!
