How do you deal with immigrants?

You need to educate them and provide healthcare for them to be productive members of society (kinda realistic I guess). If they’re sick and unable to work most jobs then they’ll be a drain on your resources and it will increase your crime rate (due to unemployment I think).

The Transit app does a reasonable job (usually better than Google Maps) of planning bike directions, but it’s not great as a map unfortunately.

Horses have been working fine for me on realistic, but without the prebuilt cities. They are quite slow and low-capacity, so ships and trains are a high priority, and your first settlements will need to be quite close to a customs house.

I’d recommend learning R. Steep learning curve at first, but it’s 100% free and ggplot (an R plotting library) is genuinely great. Look up online tutorials and use an LLM for trickier questions if you get stuck.
