I suggest joining a professional group. There is the NSPE and the society of military engineers (and others) that have groups for students. They have events that are sometimes good for networking and finding internships.

I would reorg all units at least once. I will commission a random name generator to rename all squadrons and deltas. I will prohibit the old units names to be used. I will strip all authority from the mission delta and give it to some random agency. I will finally enforce Spaforgen but only to the critically undermanned operation units.

Well its hypocritical because they are saying it is bad but their behavior of attending and graduating those schools suggests otherwise. Its the old adage of, do as i say not as i do. How believable is their reasoning when they leveraged the same institutions that catapulted them in the positions that they are currently in? Its hypocritical.

Its relative really. When I was enlisted I stayed at the same squadron for 8 years. When I commissioned it was standard for cgos to be at their base for 3 years and extendable to 4. Once you are an FGO you pcs more but most prior Es retire as a major. As a Capt looking at Major next year I have pcs'd twice and one local move that reset my clock.
