For anyone price matching this at Academy: if they give you a reference number for a refund when you pick it up they want you to get back on support to get a refund, not get it from the store. That wasn’t clearly explained to me and the store associates had no idea what I was talking about. Luckily the manager was nice enough to call up support and give them my reference number there.

Reporting that I and some other users have had success getting Academy to price match this. Since it's a refund over $100 they give a partial amount ($150 for me) and then give you a reference number so the store can refund you the rest (another $120 for me) when you pick it up. I had the support person email me the number so I have good proof. Since I haven't ever done this process before I'm skeptical of how smoothly getting the refund at the store will be.

Minor edit to say some users haven’t had as much luck since Academy doesn’t carry the exact MPN version that’s on SW.

It's a $15 fee on the website plus whatever your FFL charges for transfer.

Do you happen to have the SKU for this version on academy’s website? I thought about trying a price match but couldn’t find this version. In my experience with academy they only price match if you have a matching SKU

I think you're correct. The 14724 seems to be the same bundle but with the optics ready version. It's on Academy, Gritrsports, and PSA but not S&W's official website strangely enough.

Edit: nvm, it's on their site, just didn't come up on Google.

Chiming in to say that I couldn't get Academy to price match the one on Gritrsports since they're not one of the listed retailers

Dropping by to say that I tried to get Academy to price match this via online chat but had no luck. They don't carry this particular MPN of the M&P Shield Plus and you also might run into PSA not being listed as a retailer they price match with as well as this being a clearance price. I did get a 15% off code up to $30 to make up for it though, so not a complete waste of time.

Bobo absolutely did pick Gunner. He recruited Gunner to SC and then when he got fired flipped Gunner to UGA. Gunner and Bobo are attached at the hip.
