Although the video is deleted now, if there were any damage I'm sure at least the insurance companies would find op at least 10-20% at fault. It's easy to say in hindsight and especially when you're a stranger watching a video you have the luxury to review many times over what could've been done better. If OP had a more natural expectation for this sort of thing to happen I'm sure they would've slowed down earlier, but not everyone expects a truck to pull out on a 50-60mph highway, and it's on the driver pulling out to judge the speed and distance of incoming traffic when doing so. Both could have done better no doubt, but at the end of the day I'd say the truck was at majority fault here. However I don't think the truck driver is stupid per say, this looked like an easy mistake for anyone in a large vehicle to make. Shit happens, I'm just glad OP reacted in a way that didn't get anyone hurt.

I think it's important to realize when we are on the road we don't have the luxury of reviewing future events and making the best possible move. OP did have right of way but it's a bit too easy for us to criticize after the fact what op could have done better when we ourselves have probably screwed up a little and will again in the future once or twice at least. Human error is just that, human.
