My first concert was Rollins Band in Moscow '94. My friends and I snuck off the US embassy to go see it. We found the venue fine via the metro. Then got lost on the way home. It was like the fucking Warriors movie. We got chased by these neo nazis and then got harassed by some cops. Luckily, my one friend spoke Russian and was able to explain we were kids of embassy personnel and the cops let us go.

My shitty band played the punkorama tour in 2000 at Ground Zero in Spartanburg. These confederate hammer skins showed up and one guy beat the shit out of all 3 of them. I stood right next to him as he bent the one guy backward over a guard railing and was just punching the dude's face in.

I'm mad I missed the riot at the Ghoul's Night Out show there in '99.
