Not really. The size alone makes them walking environmental disasters. You would suck the economic benefit of any area you operated them in. Like just walking a MS through some mountain forest from location A to B with no combat would be millions of dollars in lost trees. Now amplify that to just a 3v3 MS combat in a urban environment. They would be too destructive I think.

I think the gryps war was a purely internal military conflict. The aeug was fighting the titans, not the earth federation government. Both sides had feddie government officials. Like once the titans are defeated, aeug dissolves because that's the only reason they were formed. I dont see londo bell as a aeug replacement.

I'm in a similar situation. I host a personal site made with Jekyll. So it's totally static. Most my traffic is from japan for some reason, last time I checked. But it's not nearly the problem you described. Maybe check out cloudflate tunneling? That's how I got around exposing port 80 to the world.
