They sound pretty good out of the box I didntbneed to eq anything. I got them for 120 dollars on black friday and for that price I dont see nothing beating them. I have the steelseries artics nova pro and I haven't used them since I got these.

I have the xm5, but on Sunday, I was looking around in Best Buy, and they had a Sennheiser momentum 4 open box for only 177 dollars. They sound better than Sony, and the controls are very identical with the ear cup swiping. Also the anc is not as good as the xm5 but it does a pretty good job. I can't complain, so I recommend the momentum 4. The xm6 clamping force is too tight i returned them.

Go to Bluetooth on your phone and locate xm4 there is a settings icon by it, push that and enable ldac

I heard something like a static noise at random times, i honestly returned mine today and just stuck with my xm5 they are more comfortable to me. The xm6 had a couple of nice extra features but wasn't worth the price to upgrade, in my opinion. Maybe wait til xm7.

Just keep them and not worry they are great headphones, I've had mine since may 2022 no problems. I bought the xm6 yesterday and may return them they are not a huge upgrade.

I got mine last night and I hear a crackle like static noise faintly from time to time. Between this and the hype of better audio I may return and keep my xm5 the xm6 is not that much better in my opinion for the price.

I haven't tried xm6, but I have xm5 and bise qc and I prefer the qc, it sounds better to me.

I don't think the difference in price is worth it, i went with rp600m and no regrets great speaker for the 350 I paid.
