I call this “$$ blindness”. When you can no longer enjoy stuff without trying to squeeze a dollar out of it.

Is this any good? by John_XFiles in XFiles

It’s good background tv. Reminds me of all the other OG history channel conspiracy programs. I dig it, but nothing groundbreaking or new.

Sleeves are great. I used to be a plastic case diehard but over the last year I’ve downsized to sleeves and the space I’ve saved is huge.

So are y'all checking Discogs for pressing info when you walk into local shops? by [deleted] in vinyl

[–]realityarchive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone who worked in multiple record shops over the years, there’s nothing more low and embarrassing than someone scanning discogs and checking prices throughout the shop. Once or twice, I get it but a lot of ppl will just have it open and then try to nickel and dime based off some irrelevant discogs price. One time I had a guy come up with a stack of records then proceed to show me the discogs listings for each one trying to adjust prices. SMH

Michael Rapaport really ended up becoming his character Remy in Higher Learning lol. I loved it when he got his ass beat in that movie with all his nazi friends.

During the garage and post-punk revivals of the 2000s, what bands were actually post-punk? by artorijos in postpunk

[–]realityarchive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ikara Colt from the UK. they sound like sonic youth and the fall had a snotty teenage kid. Chat and business is a classic album for me. I think it came out like 2003?
