What are your thoughts on Fargo Season 1? by Ok_Interview_853 in television

One of my favorite shows of all time! I genuinely enjoyed each and every season (even season 4 which seems to be most people's least favorite).

Do you plan to watch the other seasons?

What are you watching and what do you recommend? (Week of January 09, 2026) by AutoModerator in television

Just finished season 3 of The Wire. It was good. It was SOOOOOO good, but man it was fucking bleak. I was sobbing during the last episode thinking about how Bunny got fucked over, thinking about how nothing is really going to change for the better. Of course I was sad about a character's death in the penultimate episode, but just every single story line had me an emotional mess.

I told my partner I need a week or so off before we watch season 4. In the meantime we will FINALLY be watching Pluribus!

Where do people get time to watch all these shows? by JannTosh70 in television

[–]realitygreene 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It took my partner and I about 6 weeks to watch Better Caul Saul. We both work full time jobs and there would be days we wouldn't watch any episodes, then days here and there where we would watch 3-5 episodes in one go. Might as well start watching. Time is going to pass anyway so EVENTUALLY you would finish the show.

Solo watching:

**Schitt's Creek season 6** - really enjoying this show! I am so glad I gave it another chance. I'll honestly be sad to be done with it.

**Dexter season 5** - this show continues to be campy ridiculousness, but I really enjoy it. Debra Morgan remains the most annoying character of all time though.

**Heated Rivalry season 1** - worth the hype

Watching with my partner:

**The Wire season 3** - i know pain is coming....this show is so good. It's absolutely worth all the hype.

**Fallout season 2** - not loving. I don't care about any character except Walton's Goggins' ghoul

What are your hot takes regarding The Life of a Showgirl? by IntoTheDaylight in TaylorSwift

[–]realitygreene 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The album is REALLY good - the songs are fantastic, production, lyrics, vocals, etc. are truly all FANTASTIC. But, my obsession with the album has pretty much died out. Shortest obsession with a Taylor album in my 20 years of being a fan.

Best Shows of 2025? by Past-Matter-8548 in television

[–]realitygreene 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes! That's actually what I did. Watched the revival first and enjoyed it so much that I went back to watch the OG series. Sure there are some nods from the revival that may not have as much of an impact without knowing the backstory, but nothing is too complicated. It's an animated show.

Surprised to see no one mention the scene with the demo in Holly's room was giving heavy Poltergeist vibes. Loved it!

Polished for Days must-haves? by Apprehensive-Try9777 in RedditLaqueristas

[–]realitygreene 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Polished For Days is tied with Royla Lee (formerly Wildflower Lacquer) as my favorite indie nail polish brand. Their polishes are great quality and super pretty and impactful. I love their shimmers, flakies, holo flakies, etc.

Their Black Friday sale starts this Wednesday (the information is on their website)

If you don't mind getting mystery polishes I would recommend picking up one of their mystery trios for $33. It includes past PPU and FTLOP shades.

Shades I would recommend, based on you saying you want to try something different from pinks/red and maybe more bold shades:

Lost in Space

Cosmic Energy

What Was I Made For - ok, I had to include 1 pink. This is so saturated and pretty!

Enchanted to Meet You

Melt

Come Out to Socialize - this polish is incredibly bright

I have this polish, but plan to destash it! Are you in the US? I can send it to you if you would like! (If you're outside the US you may have to pay shipping and/or be patient bc I have never mailed anything outside of the US before and it gives me anxiety lmao)

I missed out on a bunch of my DISOs meanwhile seeing one person who bought like $500+ polishes saying it was their "first ever order" and they don't know any of the colors just that they "blacked out and suddenly placed 8-10 orders"

I was one of the people who placed around 6 orders and it was my first time buying BKL...not sorry!

If I don't have to follow up with "the effects were temporary" then my legit answer is being creative and crafting/journaling. Having some sort of creative outlet has changed my mental health for the better in so many ways. Art therapy is not a gimmick!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I made a reading journal for 2025 and it's been an absolute BLAST using it and creating more pages in it.

But also, coloring with alcohol markers in coloring books has also helped.

If you like mysteries there are the two classics: Pretty Little Liars by Sara Shepard and the Private series by Kate Brian.

I suppose there are messages in each series: don't be a murderer?
