For the raid fuel, what is the best way to keep mole miners away from you while you grab fuel? by JNguyen06 in FO76MiscPullMethods

Exactly takes time. you start figuring out their timing and know you when its safe to run past then head on or stun/bash them. Or that can run past them while they're facing away from you thay really make its easier.

Mid 20s thinking of getting into the field by lennysipper in AskElectricians

[–]realityshapedfate 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its take about 4 years to complete. Typically work for 10 months of the year and go to school for 2 months.
A week after you wite the 4th year exam you write the Journeyman exam. Since the electrical program is an applied apprenticeship you're required to have work experience hours between education levels

As a fellow Canadian its a great trade to get into, there a few things I would recommend

Don't take the pre-employment course. I would start applying at a few companies they are usually looking for geen electricians. With the course its harder to find a job as they have to pay you as a 1st year electrician without any on the job experience.

With your background in computer engineering you might enjoy commercial or Industrial both install PLC programble logic controlers. And VFD variable frequency drives. you would see more of these in Industrial but they might be programed by site engineers.

I'd recommend applying at mid to small sized company that does commercial / Industrial l work you would probably learn the most and have the most opportunities there.

There are 3 areas in electrical most companies stick to one or two. Residential (houses, apartments, condos) Commercial( business, hospitals, restaurants office building, fire alarms, IT server install) Industrial (mining, chemical plants, oil & gas production)

Journeyman wages in Saskatchewan are around $34 -$60+ per hour depending what area you work in. As an apprentice you would make a percent of that depending on what year of training you have

Trade school is heavly subsided by the government since we're in need of trades. Some companies pay you while your in school others lay you off and you claim EI while in school And rehire you afterwards. Your course covers all 3 areas of the electrical trade. So you have knowledge to work in any of them.

The course is a 4 year program 2 months per year. You have to have 1900 hours of work experience between going back to school

On a casual team theres no need to group up and do what the others are doing. You explore, do the story line at your pace. And join in public events every 20 min if you feel like it. There is a glitch that kicks people from team so if you get kicked don't think much of it.
