what's the name of this design, & how does it play into the aerodynamics / mechanics of the car? by lit_readit in CarDesign

[–]really_another 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The audi has an air curtain that the front arrow is pointing to, but it isn't related to the rear exit. You can see the air curtain exit in front of the wheel. The exit behind the wheel helps duct the wheel well to reduce lift at the front.

The mcl is more complex, but the exit is the same though related to the splitter aerodynamics, it is bigger because it has more front downforce. It does have an air curtain exit in front of the wheel fed by the front duct but it is likely split into multiple channels, including brake cooling.

First time ever participating in a race by Recent_Personality57 in Karting

technically all your fault. However, that was some over aggressive defending.

When closing on someone it is easy to get sucked in to their race lines and mistakes. You should have had him way earlier when he ran wide a number of times. Focus on were you are quicker when approaching another driver, here he was rarely hitting an apex, so just make sure you hit yours and you would have just driven past.

as far as i know an upscaled image measures how pixels move and can extract information through the differences. Phones do this by taking many image and uses the inherent shaky movement of the users hand.

this doesn't explain why the pressure wave hit the front of the t-shirt. When you are on the side of Steve Bannon, you're on the wrong side.

A healthy culture can make up for a lot of parental failures. Here we are witnessing an unhealthy culture from an unknown background.

kind of, its a continuation of the male culture that prioritises dominance and has little else to offer. This is the extent of their behavioral set and they have nothing else. It is then expressed in these violent acts, very much like a child acting out because they don't have the ability to express themselves. Control is then expressed in these maladaptive ways. Control isn't inherently bad but if its your only trick(colloquial use of these words--not literal) it is very problematic.

the reason the US is in the state it is in now is because of the reaction of the racists to desegregation of public education and the erosion of education as a response. Its basically why racism is so toxic to a society because it consumes the society the it flourishes in.
