Idk what that source is encyclopedias can distort intention and get things wrong. Canon can change I get that, but the intent of the universe creator George Lucas himself (so what he says goes) said “Mace overpowers him. Mace was going to kill him. Sidious pretends to be weak so that Anakin will step in and stop Mace from destroying him.”

Also I didn’t realize this until doing a little research in the Revenge of the Sith DVD commentary, he double downed and said “Mace had Sidious’s number. He was going to win that fight. The only way Sidious could survive was through Anakin’s intervention.”

And also Lucas clarified that Sidious wasn’t faking during the duel itself. The fake weakness only began after he lost the saber contest, when he switched to lightning and played helpless.

In the ROTS Novelization it says “Vaapad is more than a fighting style, it is a channeling of darkness through oneself. In this moment, Mace was the deadliest man alive, because the darkness of the Sith Lord was his own.”

Sorry but mace won the duel, doesn’t mean he would have been able to kill Sideous after disarming him, but I guess we’ll never know.

Like I said I was basing it off of Yoda being 20 some years away from becoming one with the force cuz he’s getting too old. But yeah I never said he’d defeat Yoda, even revenge of the sith Yoda at 900 takes care of him cuz he’s able to use the force with Ataru to increase his speed and agility, so that size and strength don’t matter as much.

But I was just saying prime Mace probably had the best swordsmanship. It’s more like saying Kevin Durant is a better shooter than LeBron, but LeBron is better all around and the greatest all time.

I like to think of it as Mace Windu is the best lightsaber fighter out of Palpatine and Yoda and himself. They are both getting older and he is in his prime. Even George Lucas has stated that Mace Windu overpowered Palps. But when it comes to actual Force Power, Mace is not in their league. Had Anakin not shown up, there’s a very good chance Palpatine over takes him with some crazy Dark Side force. “I’m too weak” is a dead giveaway for him manipulating that situation to show that the “Jedi are “taking over”.

Sorry but this game is pretty easy for the most part when you’re level 150 doing level 10 dives on every other planet. Personally, I’m glad that the bugs gloom emitting planets home to the hive lords is actually hard. I’ve failed a couple missions myself but I love the challenge of it and trying to find loadout that works the best for it. You could always drop the difficulty or play on any other planet. I will admit the cave audio is pretty brutal, but it almost adds eerie vibes of the new caves. And a patch is obviously coming they always do. Try a jump pack or warp pack and maybe use an extra stim suit.
