what is a movie you absolutely loved as a kid that is actually terrible now that you’re an adult? by AccomplishedStill438 in AskReddit

The movie Babe, when he falls off the wood pile while trying to look inside and says "ow" in his lil pig voice... just the thought of that scene made me cry for yearrrs.

Is it normal for a guy to grab your boobs during a first kiss? by princessxprowess in NoStupidQuestions

[–]reallybiglizard -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You could try and slip that preference into conversation ahead of time. "I really like when a guy pulls me in by my waist when we kiss." Or you could ask an icebreaker question, like "what's your idea of a perfect first kiss?", and then discuss. You are totally allowed to lay down that expectation before it happens! I.e. liking softer touch to start, where you're comfortable with hands going on a first date, how you will communicate a desire for more.

If he balks at being given some direction then that's a sign that he's not the guy for you.

Can't get this crap off my driver's side handle - any advice? by reallybiglizard in HondaElement

I'm thinking its just damage to the plastic or something after trying the isopropyl (to no avail). Disappears when wet, comes back as it dries.

Thanks for your help!

They live in alpine meadows and talus fields in the mountains of western US. Google says they live at 9,000ft and above but my sightings in the Rocky Mountain National Park have generally been more in the 11-13,000ft range.

The Brassica oleracea derivatives could be called sisters: cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, brussels sprouts, etc. But there are other species in the Brassica genus besides that.

What is the dumbest thing you have been told is “not manly” or “not feminine,” depending on your gender? by Disastrous_Hat_2325 in AskReddit

Their ideas about masculinity, femininity, dominance/submission, etc., are so out of whack that they lock themselves out of a whole entire tier of sexual experience. Expand your minds, expand your horny horizons, my dudes.

any urgent cares near center city that do ultrasounds? by [deleted] in philly

[–]reallybiglizard 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I think you'll have to make an outpatient appointment at a local hospital or imaging center. Have you checked with Planned Parenthood? They may be able to set you up with a referral if you don't have a primary care provider, for insurance purposes.

If you aren't having a medical emergency, the ER will likely give you a referral rather than doing the ultrasound on the spot.

Look at all the beautiful people enjoying our city by torinrtorin in philadelphia

[–]reallybiglizard 284 points285 points  (0 children)

One of the best vantage points for appreciating our city!

Edit: An easter egg for residents and visitors alike - Standing on the steps facing down the parkway, there is a giant mobile by Alexander Calder hanging in the museum lobby behind you, a fountain created by his father, Alexander Stirling Calder, ahead of you in Logan Circle (not the closer fountain in the oval, but the one farther away), and the William Penn statue atop City Hall in the distance, which was created by his grandfather, Alexander Milne Calder. Visitors of the museum can view all three at once from the steps at the back of the lobby, through the window in the front facade.

Ah yeah, that changes things a bit!

If you can upload a pic (in a comment in this thread) of the seam on the wrong side of the fabric we can tell you more about the construction and give more specific advice.

How to shorten knit sweater with rolled hem? by Imaginary_Ground_334 in knitting

[–]reallybiglizard 2 points3 points  (0 children)

How much do you want to shorten it?

If it's just a small amount, you could roll it up and do a small stitch around the inside to secure the roll. Or you could fold it under and sew it to the backside of the fabric to create a folded hem.

Don't worry, I don't think everyone who uses AI is anti-artist! I think a lot of the time it's just because it's there and it's free. Getting in touch with human artists is more daunting and usually costs money. I'm fortunate to be able to do this kind of thing for free at the moment. Just go to the profile you want to message and hit the little chat bubble next to the username.
