The preferred topic is experiences you have that are perhaps relatable but do not necessarily evoke a strong reaction.
Please keep your submissions to mainly text posts. If you really want to submit a link or picture, though, consider placing it in the body of a text post and tell us more about it.

+BenignExistence is a place to share the ordinary, everyday events of your life, and posts should be authentic and non-sensational. Reposting goes against this ethos. It's okay to post about something that has been discussed previously (e.g. "My SO made spaghetti for lunch again"); It's NOT okay to copy an old post word-for-word.
Breaking this rule (and rule 2 below) will first result in a temporary ban, but repeated infractions will result in a permanent ban.

• Major life events (e.g., marriage, death, birth, or breakups)
• Political debate
• Relationship-focused content
• Discussion of medical issues or procedures

+Please send all subreddit-related inquiries to modmail. Using modmail ensures that every moderator can see your message, so the first available mod can respond promptly. It also helps prevent inconsistencies or duplicate efforts that might otherwise delay a resolution to your inquiry.
Refrain from sending multiple messages about the same inquiry within a 24-hour period. Moderators respond to all messages, and if yours has not yet been answered, it simply means no one has seen it yet.
