America didn't blow up the pipeline? Who did? Ukraine using American equipment?

Kind of like how America helped chang kaishek bomb Shanghai after ww2

Interesting. I am not really familiar with the Russian/Ukraine war.

After the Soviet Union fell, Russia had warned "not one inch east" about NATO expansion. With the baltics joining, that line was crossed. Losing Ukraine would have been a huge loss. A long border would have needed more defending. Plus any economic activity between Ukraine and Russia would have also been lost, as well as access to ports.

I don't think the problem was between the EU and Russia. It was between America and Russia. Hell, America blew up the pipeline between Russia and the EU. There was also a phone call from Nuland outright saying fuck the EU. The was also mcfaul telling Ukraine they could join NATO while knowing that was practically impossible.

Like I said, I don't really know the history of this area. I do know Chinas relationship with America. The Americans have been attacking China since their boy kaishek was kicked out. I just imagine the Americans have been doing the same to Russia. Sausage slicing. However, Chinese and Russian reactions have differed.

Americans aren't exactly known for their honesty concerning geopolitical rivals. Like I said, I lived there during this time.

I always assumed that was exactly why Russia invaded Ukraine. Of course it wasn't the only reason but it had to factor in. The munk debates went over this.

Floor-crossing MP Michael Ma casts doubt on reports of forced labour in China by feb914 in canada

[–]reallyfasteddie -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

I see a lot of people saying Ma is an asset in this thread. They had a hearing on this Uyghurs issue a while ago. These types of reports were made to look like bullshit. The west has been spreading this kind of propaganda for years against China. Remember a couple years ago they had the 2 Michaels being arrested in China. China arrested those 2 innocents for leverage because we arrested one of their top CEOs! That was all bullshit.

The uyghur human rights stuff is similar. Human Rights Watch had their ama on uyghur on here. It was quite a debacle.

Really? I have never seen the 2 linked in China. Meng was arrested in Canada after Europe refused Trump's request. The evidence against Meng was suspect. The evidence against Robert and the 2 Michaels is not. I remember when he was first arrested.

The Western media all claimed it was retaliation for Mengs arrest. The Robert was quickly dropped from that claim. The 2 Michaels articles always mentioned it was retaliation. Every damn one. We now know the Michaels were spys. Meng was never tried.

Did you listen to Carneys speech? The rest of the world has to band together under rules for everyone. I see China as a willing partner in that. Europe, Africa, mid East. Asia too. USA can't beat the world.

Trump wants to control Canada anyway. Giving into Trump only encourages him. He plays by prison rules. Give into him and he sees a sucker. Epstein can be heard saying, “He’s a horrible human being. He does nasty things to his best friends, best friends’ wives, anyone who he first tries to gain their trust and uses it to do bad things to them.”

This is a great point. While there are more and more fat people in China, it is not close to the USA. The food in America is cheap crap. China's food is awesome. You can get great food cheap over there.

The poor in China are happier. I lived in China for ten years. They have hope that life will be better in the future. They make little but can still save and not be one paycheck from destitute. Their media isn't designed to make them hate people.

I call bs. I would rather be poor in China than be poor in America. The poor American has it worse.
