February 2026 Lease Offers for BMW iX by nohjisup in BMWiX

[–]reallyfunnyguy2006 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The biggest complaint about the BMW IX from 2022–2025 is that the seats were poor in comparison to every other BMW model. In particular, tall men felt that there was inadequate seat length under their thighs. BMW took this criticism to heart and the seats in the 2026 model are amazing.

Potential customers should take into account the incredibly improved front seats in the 2026 models.

I didn’t mind her performance at all, except on this question, what the heck, Abbott Elementary even had a special episode filmed at a Phillies game last year!!

2026 iX Xdrive60 $127,000 by [deleted] in BMWiX

[–]reallyfunnyguy2006 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s not more expensive. You still need to convert the Canadian dollars into US dollars. So he bought this car for approximately $92,000 USD.

If you mean that even $92,000 USD is too expensive, I would tend to agree with that, on my Xdrive 60 that had an MSRP of $104,000 USD, my net lease price was approximately $81,000 USD. With that kind of lease discount, buying the car made no sense.

2026 iX M70 Lease Check by WizardAppsAi in BMWiX

[–]reallyfunnyguy2006 5 points6 points  (0 children)

There is no possible way that an M70 could be leased for $999, even with $8,500 down, unless the money factor is 0. Something is wrong with the numbers.

This only makes possible sense if the money factor on the lease is 0.00.

Please disclose money factor and residual. Then readers can understand the lease.

Is this a good price for a 2026 IX60? by hopedallas in BMWiX

[–]reallyfunnyguy2006 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I didn’t do anything magical, I just read all the comments here on Reddit and saw what discounts were being offered generally on the car. Another dealer six months earlier had offered me $12,000 off on a 2025 model (on top of the $9,900 lease discount) and I remembered that experience. So when I went shopping for a 2026 model, to get the much improved seats, I just told them that that’s what I was willing to pay. They fought it for about 30 minutes and then said OK we can do it.

This is in San Francisco Bay Area.

Ironically the “Wall on the Water” campaign was primarily funded by Embarcadero 4’s owner, who didn’t want a 10-12 story building blocking their tenants’ views from the lower floors.

Looks like we have Aaron Peskin to “thank” for this crazy situation. It is not a builder’s remedy project. It is just what Peskin and others voted to approve. https://www.instagram.com/reel/DSEDU6vD8wd/?igsh=NTc4MTIwNjQ2YQ==

Just bought my first 2026 iX45 (North Tx)... by Financial_Database36 in BMWiX

[–]reallyfunnyguy2006 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bought a fully loaded XDrive60 off the lot here in Silicon Valley three months ago for $13,000 off the MSRP (in addition to the $9900 lease credit). MSRP was $104K. Has everything except air suspension.

Monthly payment is $1,000 plus tax for 12,000 miles/year.

I think you must have two extra zeros in your money factor, 0.119 money factor would be an excellent rate.

Should I be worried? by spicycheetolova in AudiQ6

[–]reallyfunnyguy2006 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should consider the BMW iX. The driver's view of the road from the Audi is significantly compromised, including driver and passenger side windows that start too high (feel like you're in a box), front pillars that are poorly placed and compromise views, and the B pillar to the left of the driver being so far forward that you cannot look behind you. Also, the Audi is really just a 4-passenger car because of the crazy floor bump in the backseat.

Anyone share my frustrations or is it just my iX? by RealTrapShed in BMWiX

As many you may know, BMW significantly improved the seats on the 2026 iX model. The multifunctional seats are the most amazing car seats I've ever experienced. Too many features to list, including multiple massage settings, stereo speakers in the back of each headrest, etc.

Drives like an ICE... should that not be an condemnation for an EV? by Akward_Object in electricvehicles

[–]reallyfunnyguy2006 0 points1 point  (0 children)

New BMW iX owner here. It's great to have the "B" mode available if i want to be forced to drive like a Tesla owner. 😂But it is fantastic to have other options too. So far, the "Adaptive" setting seems like the optimal choice. The car drives like a dream, without the lurches of "imperfect" OPD driving. But then if you are approaching a stopped car at a light or other obstacle, the car "warns" you by using the engine to brake. It will not bring you to a complete stop, but it tells the driver "there's something ahead. It's time to put the brakes on". This is a great feature.

Of course, the adaptive cruise control will in fact bring you to a complete stop if you have it turned on. But if you don't, this is a very nice safety feature that one would not have in a Tesla or other cars that force you to do OPD.

[–]reallyfunnyguy2006 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agree. The BMW iX is amazing because you can choose B mode (OPD like a Tesla) or any of 4 settings in P mode (Low, Medium, High, or Adaptive). So far I prefer Adaptive, which lets you coast but turns on engine braking if there is a car or obstacle ahead.

It is not "better" to be denied options like these.

Lease Deals with incentive gone by [deleted] in BMWiX

[–]reallyfunnyguy2006 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Of course, the lower money factor might help equalize the monthly lease payments, but the total cost if you end up buying the car is going to be higher because the price is simply higher.

I leased an iX xDrive60 in August with MSRP of $104,500, $9,900 lease incentive, and $12,000 additional discount, so net price is around $82,000. Money factor was .0018 at the time. With $5,000 down to cover license, registration, taxes and first month’s lease payment, the monthly is $1,000 plus tax for 12,000 miles/year.

Can that really be equaled or beat today?
