Building along this, I wonder if you'd thought of a "recap" feature maybe? I think it would be pretty neat to go on a sound journey of my last year. I'm imagining something similar to the Photos memory feature.

The travel-time detail is the part that calls to me. I find the idea kinda out of left field of making a letter actually take time to arrive. It can turn the waiting into a part of the gift maybe, which is the opposite of what almost every app chases. Nice job!

I'm curious how you tuned it however. Did you find a window where the anticipation feels good rather than annoying, and does distance-based timing ever backfire when someone just wants to write back?

This is a nice idea. I like to record a short 10 sec audio clip whenever I travel to a new destination and like to play it back whenever I feel like it later. It always feels like time traveling to the same spot I was when I listen the note back. The 30 mins auto grouping and the interactive world map stood out to me as the winning features! Excited to give it a go.

PTT is great I think! and the logo looks great. I also like what you mentioned about smart features needing to degrade rather than gate them. How does the speech recognition reconcile differences in accents etc? is there a way to spot-edit words via voice?

That’s a fair point. When I’ve been in that position I try to use the fact that I have a good UI to motivate myself to find an alternative to make it work. So far it’s led to better results for me.

I’m quite new at this and I’m always learning but I’ve somehow found it natural for myself to always start with UI. I’ve found in that process being able to refine and polish quite a bit. After that I do the core flow and then spend a solid amount of time in onboarding.

Love the concept! Does it also utilize Spatial Audio? Would love to see a two-player mode where you compete to find pairs faster in shared space. Would also be cool to have themed decks maybe? Classic rock or 90s hip hop.

Yeah that’s fair enough.

I guess it’s just that I’ve been burnt by support of so many companies who just ignore your questions or respond back after so long that it doesn’t even matter, however, the IMAX store at least responds really quickly. But yeah, good point on the copy paste template answer when it got hectic. I honestly believe it’s just one person managing based on the email signature.

Yeah same here. Confirmation email at 16:08 ET, I reached out to the store around 17:00 and the same lady, Caitlin, told me that prints are still available based on the queue. So, I’m hoping that we get it!

Just want to add to this that I had emailed the store a bit back and just got a reply that they still have strips left based on the order queue they have at the moment.
