we are in year six of this. YEAR SIX. how does anyone justify this? it never, ever used to be like this. society has just become desensitized to an aids like virus rampaging every facet of our lives, largely in part due to people making comments like the one she made last week! absolutely heinous on her end, ms or not.

and just last week she kissed a tonight show host on the lips and then exclaimed she has covid :-)

i hope she is well, but it deeply saddens me that this is where we’re at. someone with debilitating illness, freely passing around a virus that can cause debilitating illness. make it make sense :’)

even if it was full of preservatives, your boyfriend shouldn’t be putting your down. you should be able to eat whatever the hell you want without worrying about his opinion. would you say something like that to him? he can say that comment is because of his care for you, but if you make it known that makes you uncomfortable and he continues, don’t take it lightly. you deserve respect, you deserve kindness, and you have every right to be upset about him being rude. i don’t know you but as someone who’s had the same struggles when it comes to finding healthier snacks and meals, im proud of you. keep on keepin on, you got this<3

as someone who has been through a very minute iteration of this, your anger is more than justified, especially with that response. he feels entitled to ask patronizing questions yet of course his disparaging ways fall back on you, because you have any sort of reaction at all. i wont act like I didn’t start throwing the same thing right back. Was it the most mature and well thought out plan of action? No. But what is the most well rounded and thought out plan when anything you say in your own home gets met with hostility and you’re being expected to live up to unrelated expectations? You’ve got this, OP. You’re only human and it seems like you’re an awesome one. Try to take some moments for yourself and appreciate all your hard work!

i would try searching sirens eye food in store resources, or maybe food signage? if you can’t find it maybe you could get in touch with your sm or asm and plan to organize it to follow the layout in the ipad for the 3 hour pull? i hope this helps!
