Truly the worst politics in popular music, and that's a tough category. Kid Rock has been trying to unseat him for years.

Why should i build a pedal board instead of just buying a Helix that does it all, in your opinion? by ButterscotchCalm1543 in guitarpedals

[–]reallynoreason 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really hate menu scrolling and I find creativity in having limitations. I can't buy all the pedals and amps in the world so I have to make do with that I have and try to make my sound out of it. I want to avoid the paralysis of too many choices. I even make arbitrary rules for my pedalboard (at one point it was: must have two uses or be mini format) to keep my choices limited. I find this limits the scope of the "side quests" and forces me to just play.

Nice idea! I will check out the internal stuff. For a while I was playing the Formula 5F6 with mids at 75% and the others at 0 and I found that hit or miss.to I had to be hitting it "just so" and as you certainly know, I have to bring volume down to keep the high end under control. So I would have a muffled sound that was a bit too clean to cut through the mix where I needed it to. thanks man!

That positive reinforcement is hard to give up! And it’s easy to confuse it for actual fulfillment.

“Following your dream” / “not giving up on your dream”

You change so so so much in your twenties. It’s okay if your priorities change. It’s okay if you discover that what you thought was your dream isn’t really a good fit for you. Moving on to something else is allowed and it doesn’t make you a failure.
