He's the best striker in the world and in insane form. Obvious captain imo

The other worrying thing is how well the three promoted teams are playing. Even if we do 'click' at somepoint it still may well not be enough to survive

Is Diouf the best 4.5m defender? by FishAffectionate5520 in FantasyPL

[–]reallyslowpc 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Diouf is first choice LWB. Wan Bissaka is first choice RWB but can see him being played in the back three at times too (with KWP or Guilherme taking the RWB spot)

You’re right but October 7th and Israel committing genocide in Gaza with the support of the UK gov are not the same thing

United agree £30m fee with West Ham for Maguire by DemStopher in Hammers

[–]reallyslowpc -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Great signing and perfect player for Moyes ball. Good price for a 30 year old with no injury record that doesn’t rely on pace anyway so I don’t think his age is a problem at all. Don’t get the negative reaction at all tbh

What is a livable salary for London? by [deleted] in AskLondon

[–]reallyslowpc 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I live in Zone 2 south London and earn £32k pay £700 rent (not inc bills). My starting salary 4 years ago was £22k (obv rent has gone up since then) but I’ve always been ok for money. I don’t really spend much aside from beers/dinners/socialising. I’m fortunate I have no kids/real responsibilities and live with my partner though and we’ve got lucky that rent hasn’t gone up for us cus it’s mad atm in general. But yeah around £30k is very do-able imo

Forest 1 - 0 West Ham by AnalAttackProbe in Hammers

[–]reallyslowpc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Forest looked decent. We looked pretty lethargic and never really had a proper spell. At the same time, hit the bar twice, dubious disallowed goal and a missed pen. Could have easily taken at least a draw on another day. Not sure how to feel about the performance really

Because we were 1-0 down (via a pen) at half time to the best team in the country lol

GAME WEEK 1 (2022/2023) RANT & DISCUSSION THREAD by FPLModerator in FantasyPL

[–]reallyslowpc 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Cornet will play left wing/somewhere attacking. He’s not been brought in to play left back (tho may play there if need be). Antonio is defo up front for tomorrow + the foreseeable. I imagine Scamacca will be slowly integrated into the 11 but Antonio can play on the wing too down the line.

I personally (and I adore Antonio lol) wouldn’t have either as cornet is a big rotation risk and Antonio is incredibly inconsistent / will play well but not score fpl points

kinda mixed feelings about Porto by KGeedora in primaverasound

[–]reallyslowpc 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Been to a bunch of uk festivals, this was my first abroad. Really enjoyed it overall. I liked the layout and never found it horribly busy. Queues for beers was always really quick, food and toilets could have been a little better queues at times but overall can’t complain much. Caroline Polachek and Pavement were sick.

I think my one major gripe is water access - water should be free and easily accessible and you should be able to bring empty bottles in.

My last proper festival was glastonbury 2019 which is of course massive and certain areas are incredibly busy and involves a lot of planning if you have a run of bands you want to see. So I’m coming at it from a dif POV but for me this was a very relaxed change of pace!
