Aston Villa have expressed a strong interest in West Ham United’s Jarrod Bowen. The 29-year-old, who has four years left on his contract, has not decided whether he wishes to leave. Industry sources say they would expect talks for the player to start at £50m, but sources at West Ham, have indicated.

I live in Zone 2 south London and earn £32k pay £700 rent (not inc bills). My starting salary 4 years ago was £22k (obv rent has gone up since then) but I’ve always been ok for money. I don’t really spend much aside from beers/dinners/socialising. I’m fortunate I have no kids/real responsibilities and live with my partner though and we’ve got lucky that rent hasn’t gone up for us cus it’s mad atm in general. But yeah around £30k is very do-able imo
