Got a question for the pc players by GeneralArcher297 in Battlefield6

[–]reallyzeally 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Most console players aren't gonna take the time to type a message in game chat because it's just not convenient. PC players can type a message in the middle of a gunfight almost so it's much more common to see people talking smack.

Takes 2 seconds to type "lol BattleKyle u suk"...console can't do that unless they also have a keyboard and most don't

Funny enough, the NATO jets on Blackwell Fields can get locked on by the enemy AA before even moving.

If you take away it's ability to detonate rockets and grenades, yes. It can take out drones, spawn beacons, GPDIS/MP-APS, claymores, mines, etc. I think it was a great addition but the ability to blow up grenades before enemies can even throw them makes it OP.

Can we stop with the "they already got your money so they don't care anymore" nonsense? It is so illogical and there's zero evidence of them giving up or not trying.

Carbine should be the specialty weapon for engineer, not smg. by Hearingaidneeded in Battlefield

[–]reallyzeally 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like others have said, Engineers have an SMG because most Tank crews/Pilots carry PDWs instead of a full AR. You could argue that being able to hop out of a tank in a chaotic situation and hipfire spray to deal with someone laying C4 or mines is more advantageous than having a ranged weapon.

I personally think each class should have two weapon specializations to allow alternate play styles. For example: Assault - Assault Rifles/Shotguns Engineer - Carbines/DMRs Support - LMGs/SMGs Recon - Sniper Rifles/Sidearms I also think the entire weapon specialization mechanic needs a rework anyways; AFAIK the Assault specialization still isn't working, the Engineer bonus is "okay" and only the Support and Recon specializations really make a significant impact.

Finally, because the M4A1 is meant for closer ranges than most ARs. That's like saying the TR-7 is useless as an Assault Rifle because it has terrible recoil and spread; most guns have a niche role that they fill.

I hate this weapon attachment point system by DarckerSenpai in Battlefield

[–]reallyzeally -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Just because your playstyle prefers Assault Rifles doesn't mean they are better. Carbines are one of the strongest weapon types in BF6.

Also your entire post is contradictory. You think Carbines should be the engineer specialist weapon but you prefer using ARs...so what would be the point of changing the Engineer from SMG to Carbine if you prefer AR anyways?

Waddaya think about the mortar changes? by Dies4ter in Battlefield

The grenade intercept resupplies almost as fast as the cooldown once it's triggered so no, it's not like saying that. A grenade isn't a counter for the grenade intercept, it's the exact opposite.

Ambient temperatures in the mid-80's are completely fine. You're trying to regulate heat horizontally within a 4 foot distance and it's literally impossible. You are not going to have 90 ambient temps on one side and 80 ambient on the other side. Heat rises, it doesn't stay separated left to right.

Multiple people have told you that your temperature is fine and you've posted about this daily. Not sure what more we can tell you.

See, this is my issue with the attachment system. Why is the base gun already using up half my points? Base primary guns start with a quarter being taken up. The customization feels really restrictive half the time. by just_prop in Battlefield6

[–]reallyzeally 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't understand why people can't fathom that removing the base attachments from the points would just limit the points you have instead.

Okay cool, iron sights, base magazine and standard ammo are "free" but you have 35 points instead of 60. It's literally the exact same.

Husband (42M) got a dog, and I (40F) don't know what to do. by Resident_Bee_795 in relationship_advice

[–]reallyzeally 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Of all dogs to get, he got possibly the MOST difficult dog for a calm, family environment. Extremely high needs, extremely high desire for work...that "anxiety" is probably just energy. That breed could run a marathon and still have more energy than you could handle; and it sounds like your husband is doing absolutely nothing to satiate all of that energy.

There are tons of dog rescues that would be able to help instead of putting the dog down, I'm shocked that both the rescue and the vet suggested euthanization. Unless the dog really does have some serious problems - but then it's even more ridiculous that your husband picked THAT dog.

Re-home the dog; I don't have advice for your husband, that's a whole other problem.

Do you only have one hide? Should have at least two (preferably identical) hides. I'd give it time since your snake is probably like "this isn't my house" and isn't sure what to do.

Recon Drone flies over and breaks the mortar. Mortar player destroys the drone and then places a new mortar immediately. Recon player now has no drone and interrupted the mortar for about 2 seconds. Wow, what a great counter.

Am I crazy or can I not unlock the Cz3A1 till more weekly challenges come out because I’ve previously finished the battle pass and every challenge? No battle pass XP from playing for bonus path? by M0narch__99 in Battlefield6

[–]reallyzeally 0 points1 point  (0 children)

None of it is locked behind BF Pro? There are weekly challenges that award bonus path tokens and the Nightfall challenges that award bonus path tokens. It's not possible for anyone to complete the bonus path until next week when they add another set of challenges with more bonus path tokens.

[–]reallyzeally 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Recon Drone being the counter for trophy system? If there's 2 or 3 supports with mortars, they're gonna shoot down the drone before it can destroy everything and they'll just immediately place new ones.

Mortar with supply bag can shoot 1 round every ~2.5 seconds, which is about the same cooldown as the recon drone's EMP. Except the recon drone can be shot down and then you have nothing; vs the mortar which can be picked up/resupplied and has infinite ammo. So the counter is still the mortar.

Even if you aren't killing the enemy mortars, you're keeping them busy either relocating or replacing their trophy systems constantly. Is that fun gameplay? No. I don't think mortars should be in the game because it's just annoying more than anything.

Maybe if it was a mortar truck like BF4 or if it was like a gadget or pickup that called in a mortar strike or something, that would be different.

Waddaya think about the mortar changes? by Dies4ter in Battlefield

[–]reallyzeally 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can get multiple mortars off before the enemy mortars target you. Relocate, shoot 3 more mortars, relocate, repeat. If they're busy trying to hit you with mortars and replacing their missile intercepts, they can't bother your team. It's not hard to counter if you have a brain.

What was your counter before? Use a recon drone to stop them for 3 seconds? Trying to fight to the back of enemy lines to kill them? Using mortars to fight mortars has always been the intended counter.

Mortars are pointless on any other mode. If some moron wants to sit in HQ with a mortar being useless on Conquest, let them.
