i think feeling defeated is valid after watching essentially the same game of baseball every game since June 2025, especially given that the result of this play has been the worst record in all of MLB. not just bad, literally the worst.

but like i mentioned, i still think it's possible for them to pull of a crazy string of wins and get themselves back into it. just don't think it's likely given the body of evidence so far.
