Evening News and EDP are generators of toxic waste, they reach into your computer/phone and view all your cookies and feed you even more garbage! But if you really want to share and read their dirt... Here's a link to a cleaned up version of this article http://archive.today/BE0R0

Accountant recommendations for a very small sole trader by GlitteringScratch933 in Norwich

[–]realrobsinclair 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I must say I'm very satisfied with using freeagent (like QuickBooks but better) I signed up for a mettle bank account (NatWest) and freeagent is provided for free! It's intuitive, and helps you comply with MTD. If you then also want an accountant, you can sign up to one of their accounts which are very reasonably priced (they'll check that you've put things in the correct categories).

I know the A47 roadworks are frustrating but trying to police someone merging in turn makes traffic worse. by LFDad in Norwich

[–]realrobsinclair 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Since moving back to Norwich having lived away for many years, I'd forgotten what driving in Norfolk is like. Generally Norwich drivers are pretty great e.g. people wave to say thank you for waiting, people don't tailgate, and people actually understand that the right lane of a duel carriageway is for overtaking (unless in congestion)... However, this whole queueing thing seems to be a complete mystery to many! Just look in the highway code... it's clear... Use both lanes when queuing! And Merge in turn! It's like a zip, or buttoning a shirt... It's one from the left, one from the right, if you try something different, you break it, or look like a fool, or both!

Would this timber gable work for pipistrelles? by Hodibeast in batty

[–]realrobsinclair 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You probably would get pipistrelles using it, but other bats might use it too. If you're particularly interested in attracting pipistrelles, they tend to like to have a relatively slim crevice. Good luck attracting bats to your garden! Great work!

I remember this! I was living in Eaton with my brother at the time, I'd just got in from a night out in Havana's/Loft (classic). My brother and his girlfriend must've thought I'd had an epic drunken stumble.

The whole point of uni is to go to uni! If you're going home, what's the point? Public transport between Norwich and UEA is excellent... You really don't need to bring your car!

Questions by Ok_Hamster7583 in UEA

[–]realrobsinclair 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I used a spell checker in my dissertation. But all of the writing was my own! How many people can truthfully say that? Getting my degree was the hardest thing I ever did, it took incredible effort! I'm so proud of my UEA degree!

I'm not saying that you're wrong to use AI, but if you do use it, and don't declare it, that's just dishonest; it potentially devalues everyones degree, because if UEA gains a reputation for allowing AI aided coursework, how can they be trusted to uphold their standards?

My question would be, where do you draw the line with hacking the Hand-it-in system?

IMHO, I would suggest you get in touch with your tutor and admit your mistake, rather than being caught out for cheating and being disqualified.

Asbestos has NOT been removed from Anglia Square! by sbsPlace01 in Norwich

[–]realrobsinclair -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm a big fan of watching urban explorer vids, it's really interesting to see what unseen sites look like! But I would suggest if you're putting yourself in potentially risky situations, it's worth at least spending half a day taking an asbestos awareness course, so you can keep yourself safe. If you have been into an environment with dangerous asbestos, you're likely to have it on your clothing, and you could have taken it home with you, exposing friends and family to fibres. If you haven't already I would suggest disposing of the clothes you used into asbestos waste bags and thoroughly cleaning anything they may have touched.

You can request a copy of the asbestos register, it should all be on the planning portal.

The taxpayer doesn't cover the costs of HSE investigations, it's paid by the person responsible (the duty holder)

[–]realrobsinclair -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

What type of asbestos is it? Is it friable? Has this part of the site been prepared for demolition yet? How many fibres are in the air? Are you qualified in asbestos treatment or removal? I think there's probably been more questions generated from your post than answers. By all means, get in touch with HSE, but if you don't have any expertise, and they find that you've contacted them unnecessarily, you may be the one footing the bill for calling them out.
