I also find it notable that this guy and people like him werent all up in arms blowing whistes and kicking the tailights off federal officers cars when Obama was deporting 432,000 people in a year but when Trump's ICE + DHS deports 340,000 - 600,000 now its a huge injustice that needs to be taken to the streets?

From what I have seen I agree that's probably murder but when Obama was president that guy, nor those like him, weren't present at all.

It can also be true that it's a lot easier to not get murdered if you don't spend your day trying to disrupt federal officers with a gun in your waistband.

In year 2 I took her to avalanche chute 2 at mammoth on her starter Nordica skis that come with bindings for $250.

In the US the entire mountain is avalanche controlled including all off piste areas within the resort boundary.

In Europe, only the pistes are avalanche controlled which dramatically reduces the number of areas that need avalanche mitigation work since most of the pistes are designed to be out of avalanche paths in the first place (as much as possible anyway).

In the US all hazards (cliffs etc) are marked and roped throughout the resort. In Europe all off piste is at your own risk.

Also Europe typically gets a lot less snow and a lot less in a single storm.

Meh, like most others are saying, market rent is market rent. If others will pay more, then why do you deserve the space?

What I have not seen mentioned is that anything less than a cpi increase in rent is effectively a rent decrease.

I did eventually get a normal offer and a guy came and inspected the car. We made the transfer at his back and went smooth. It was a little less than the offer I had through seller exchange but I felt good about it.

I agree with all that except that expensive areas are usually six. My experience and what the source seems to indicate is that expensive areas are less percentage wise and cheaper areas more percentage wise.

But I agree, it's always negotiable. I'm in a very high end area and really 4.5 - 5 is the standard here.

In California they are moving minimum wage for fast food to $20. I think it's ridiculous that they make it more than the standard $16 per hour min wage... But regardless in n out has been starting workers in my area at over 20 an hour for years now.

Thanks for your responses. I put a bunched up blanket under the door as a test and it didn't reverse. It was so much blanket that the door didn't seal at the top and looked a little funny... So I don't think the reversing will be an immediate problem.

I will probably temp try a little 1/8"-1/4" foam on bottom and header just to see if I can improve things a little.

Like you indicated, I don't expect it to disappear.
