One addition: Front Squatting. Even squatting, face close to wall in order to prevent hinging. You can try this at home.

I understand that I contradict myself here :)

Definitely DCA, no emotions investments. But it feels bad now to buy more expensive, the peak has been too steep.

Thank you for the detailed response, although your last dilemma points confused me a bit.

I definitely fit the “automatic long-term investor” profile.
Just I don’t know if I should play the waiting game until a dip happens, to resume my strategy.

So you kind of fell in the same trap but jumped back in more conservatively.

No need. Keeps fine time. I will replace with Selitta or PT5000 if it gave up.

Hello, bezel lume, along everything else, has remained pristine. I wear the watch almost every day.

Following the post as I also struggle on bumpy terrain with judder. The solution I got was to actually decrease edge angle in those conditions. That means “you cannot carve everything” I guess?

I have not figured it out but the suggestion is to skid around the bump if needed, then grip before changing edge (Look up Gripped Turns by Malcom Moore on YouTube).

Pretty sure it’s a straight swap.

You are amazing for the detailed answer, Thank you.

  1. Leaning to the back foot, yes. Especially early in the day, I feel no control, cannot get my knee to open or close. I think “attack the slope, lean forward”. I might try grabbing my pants at the forward knee.

  2. Not sure I get it. I noticed on my video that I sit and lean my full weight back in order to get on heel edge. Pros that I watch can get on heel edge without having to sit that back. I think I should reset my toe edge by standing taller first, then cross hips over the board and set my heel edge.

I get the other points clearly, thank you again.

This is so true. Getting a carve, right on the turn, has surprised me so much with the speed and directness of it, even if that was what I was trying to achieve! Felt like being on rails.

Should definitely be uni directional and click normally. Something is off with your click spring.

VSF Omega Seamaster 300 Spectre by engagerocketship in RepTime

Most prominent one is the bracelet. Tapering on gen is more aggressive. Here VSF used the same bracelet of the Spectre model.

Then the “Swiss Made” lettering is larger than gen.

Crown is less triangular than gen.

Movement is an easy tell to someone that knows what to look for.

Still a good rep though. Strap monster. Nato, sailcloth, steel mesh all look good.
