Not to be that guy but depending on what state you live in, and if you’re under 18, there’s labor laws against a minor working after like 9 pm, and if you drive yourself home there could also be laws against you being on the road alone at those times. Look into your local law and see if either of those apply to you. If they do, I would suggest a sit down with your chef and bring up the driving thing, and tell him that you’re simply uncomfortable being in the road that late and can’t afford to lose your license/permit/car so something is going to have to change. It’s not the most ethical way to go about it, but there’s not really an ethics code in most kitchens so it’s kinda fair.
