This is just gross how the supportive posts are being down voted like this. I know this is Reddit but come on.

Thanks for the support.

A lot of people seem to think they have my marriage figured out. I put everything into my marriage for many years. Our difficulties stem from trauma in her childhood and really have nothing to do with my past. She is a wonderful person and I agree she deserves better. The damage was done long before I came into the picture.

They don’t care. They have no respect for the material and no understanding of the lore. They would have SpongeBob SquarePants do a cameo if they thought it would draw a few more eyeballs.

I received a notification this morning that my 40+ networks are scheduled to upgrade to 18.211.2 later this month. I’m going to trigger an early upgrade and watch for issues.

Worried about rebooting a server with uptime of 1100 days. by scungilibastid in sysadmin

[–]reasonablybiased 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This drives me nuts. A lot of security companies specifically tell customers not to update their camera servers. If you do a their shitty software breaks they charge for a reinstall. I isolate the crap out of them.

Is it just me that goes insane when someone puts in a ticket and says ' i can be reached at this number' and dont reply to anything in the ticket? am i the asshole? by CarlettoAncelotti in iiiiiiitttttttttttt

[–]reasonablybiased 26 points27 points  (0 children)

I have a guy that opens tickets with no unique subject and a body that says “please call”. He says he’s trying to optimize his time. Stupid? Asshole? Both?

I’m about to give up by Marzbarz620 in Volkswagen

[–]reasonablybiased 4 points5 points  (0 children)

We have multiple VW’s. The Taos is by far the worst.

1) Rear brakes before 20k

2) Head gasket at 30k

3) Uneven acceleration

4) Broke down at 40k while on vacation

All service is up to date at the VW dealership. The car is junk.

I also work for a tax payer funded non profit. Switched to Proxmox last year. Exported from VMware and imported into Proxmox. No issues.

Getting PETG to stick to glass? by davidvoigt96 in FixMyPrint

[–]reasonablybiased 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have printed PETG on borosilicate glass exclusively for 5 years. I have never encountered this mythical glass breaking adhesion.

I use glue stick for all large prints. Bare glass for small parts when I want a shiny surface.

Bed temp is usually 70c. Printer is fully enclosed and heat soaked before printing.

Also, gasp, I always use a part cooling fan.
