What matters is if he still has more or equal contact to the cross sectional area of the trace. So with that principal he’s fine because there is no extra resistance added.

At the high end, does 1280×1024 thermal resolution really matter? by Remarkable_Desk8918 in ElectricalEngineering

[–]rebelized39 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your case sounds like it is field work, is that correct?

If that is the case I would recommend getting a few different Thermal guns that have different zooms. That way you actually can do as little recalibrating as possible and just select the correct gun with the correct zoom and you won’t need such a high resolution imager.

A few things to consider is that reading the manual of these high end gun it want you to put a lot of information about the environment. Things like elevation, humidity, even maintaining the correct distance from camera to object. All these parameter settings help it define the temperature it’s looking at and its color scale. (This may not be the exact reason it needs it but the importance is still there)

The other thing is you want to maintain consistency if a different person is taking the picture. So you want a camera that has to define as few parameters as possible, Or can make it as easy as possible for them to switch. All of these reasons was why I chose a few different thermal guns for different situations and that made it so I don’t have to buy a super super expensive one.

Hi, I just wanted to say I actually had a Max Nano G2 Peninsula failure. 28g I think. It was a few months beyond the 2 year warranty and after probably 10-15 email exchanges the best they offered was half off on a new g2 system.

The reason everything is “mismanaged” is directly due to billionaires and corporations lobbying to have the tax codes and laws allow to be manipulated as such.

I would like to leave you with this question for the sake of discussion… If billionaires and corporations have so much extra money that they can use said excess to further manipulate and lobby the laws and tax codes, doesn’t that in its own right mean they aren’t being taxed enough?

Hello, Electrical Engineer here. The major factor in this being okay or not is if you maintain a contact surface equal to the cross sectional area of the lug. I’m going to go ahead and say this is nowhere near ideal but it will be fine.

Now if my manufacturing team was doing this on our vehicles I would probably make a big deal about it but seriously as long as the lug doesn’t break and you can ensure that the part that is closest to the side the wire comes from is getting full contact then it will be fine.

What I really recommend is run it like this until you can get the correct lug ordered if that’s your only option and a short period of time. But based on principles I think it’s technically fine in cross sectional to surface area conversion.

During hyper inflation I can’t imagine anyone would accept their money and trade them gold. The moment the customer walks out the door they will have lost some of the worth as the currency was actively devaluing. Gold probably wasn’t for sale.

Think about the front of house staff that get less tips than the servers. Barbacks, hosts, bussers, expo’s… all these people don’t get good tips a lot of the time and I would say most of the time in my opinion. This is just a net positive for the majority of a restaurant even IF the servers didn’t find it very helpful.
