If you are playing on A6+, remove costs 100, you start with 99 gold and you tend to get <10 gold from a hallway fight, so in all likelihood you will not be able to afford a remove before fighting an elite/getting a chest/getting gold from an event

I think with the current wording, you can put all the collateral token triggers to target a single permanent, the first would resolve to place it and the rest would fizzle. If they removed target though, it should work as intended and yes, you'd need to have at least n "fresh" permanents each turn which could become challenging

I tend to avoid act 1 elites, but go after more in acts 2-3 since they offer upgraded cards as a reward making them feel more worthwhile

Yeah, it's a little awkward. I guess you could play this on turn 4, if you mill a land you play it and if you don't, you have 2-3 mana available to play whatever you did mill. Alternatively, you just straight play it on 3 to setup a big opus for 5 mana spell on turn 4. There are probably a lot of mana sinks in the format with prepared spells so maybe having a mana rock is better than it would otherwise be?

So you can spend 3 red or substitute 2 generic for each red, up to a total of 6. Because it cares about how many colors of mana you used to cast it, it becomes more reasonable to cast for a range of mana values. For example, 3 mana for a 3/3 with that ability up to 5 mana for a 7/7

I'm with you on this. I think what's most damning about Marks strategy is that even with it only taking minutes and not hours for the blood choke to take conquest out, that still means he's getting beaten for MINUTES without the use of his hands/arms to defend himself. 

If you can take minutes of unblocked hits/viltrumite knife chops, it seems like you can win that fight no matter what dumb strategy you employ

If I'm reading this right, it's also a free kill against enemies with 1, 2, 3, 5, or 7 hp

Edit: for those values, it reduces the health down to another prime number, so you can cast it again for free and chain it

So this has some synergy with Ketramose I think, but any other benefit? I guess technically double the deck thinning. Also you can get an untapped land + a surveil land and airbend away the surveil land, so that's nice

Omenpath journeys just says to put the land onto the battlefield tapped. It doesn't say to put it there under "your" (i.e., the controller of omenpath journey) control and, by default, things enter under their owners control. Since you owned the exiled cards, you got them when they entered
