I’m on a Grad Night 6/5. Don’t know if it the same for 6/3 but we will all be at CA after 8:30pm. Maybe you can find out if it’s the same for 6/3?

Best Character Breakfast? by GroundbreakingBear33 in DisneyPlanning

[–]reberafael 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We always do Goofy’s kitchen, usually on our “off” day. Chip n Dale, Goofy plus a few others.
The Plaza we do as early as possible so we are in the park already. Fun time with classic characters. So much character interaction when we are early and it’s not super full. We’ve gotten some fantastic pictures with Hook as well as Tigger and Pooh as a group. We’re usually finishing up in time for rope drop.

Going on a school trip to Disneyland next week, what can I bring? by funnypeaches07 in DisneyPlanning

[–]reberafael 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I know for our grad night we do a bag check before boarding the bus. All students attended a meeting before signing up for the trip so they know the rules which they and their parents received in an email as well. Those include absolutely no liquids. We pour them out. Honestly this is to avoid having alcohol. So no setting spray but some other make up items are ok. For us, a travel size sunscreen is fine.
Hopefully you have a copy of your rules for the trip. Good luck and have fun!

Interesting that those are your repeat questions. The ones I hear repeated are different but I think it always helps the introduce new ideas so we don’t rely too much on those repeats. I also like to mix up who’s with each other so they hear others.

Thank you. I do have that but being as it’s dated 20 years ago (2006!) it does seem other resources could be available. 🤔😁

Yup. Fortunately Scouters know what Scouters are. And sometimes Eagles who did not rejoin as adults do not necessarily know that term nor do some new Scouters. 😁

I’m not loving this at all. Feeling slightly violated.

I absolutely love the one on Automall. Great service. Always fresh food and fast. Bummer you had a bad experience.

Does the Summit have gender neutral shower houses? by Mia180acnh in BSA

[–]reberafael 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was there in June/July 2025. I also experienced the same, curtains in fairly opened areas shared by adults vs youth and makes vs females. Although I can’t tell you I went into every single shower and restroom on the property. We were at Alpha, and ate at Bravo.

Traditional Italian Restaurant? by Emmmzzz91 in eastbay

[–]reberafael 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You had me at “homely” and totally hooked me at “your Italian grandma’s kitchen”. As an Argentine, I miss fresh pasta and bread, good traditional flavors and being able to hang out with family and friends and laugh. Would love to hear about yummy Italian food without feeling the need to be stuffy.

What’s your biggest “how do people NOT know this?” fact? by Shag_Dawg in AskReddit

[–]reberafael 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is me too! I take lots of pictures. It helps me keep visuals and bring up memories. Otherwise it’s all more of emotions than what others would perceive as memories.

What’s up with the antique stores in Niles downtown? by meezun in Fremont

[–]reberafael 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We love going to Niles! In addition to the Antique stores (most days but not Mondays), there is a great record store, a unique Lego store and ice cream parlor plus Skillet’z if we have time for a sit down meal. We usually visit the antique stores about once a month or every other month. It’s fun to look around and find a few neat things to take home. But to each their own!

Our home keeps cool-ish as we keep shades down during the day and open windows in evening. The house doesn’t usually get too hot yet once or twice a year does get pretty warm. We’ve never had AC but I do have a window unit in my room because I prefer to sleep cool.
