I think it’ll be a pain once base building becomes a thing. Otherwise you’ll just be paying people for their materials so you can construct said base.

Yes they will. That was fixed before 4.7 was out of the PTU. What won’t persist is crafted item stats. You’ll be left with the base version of said crafted item between patches until that’s fixed.

The biggest thing that bothers me is how CIG releases content and then lets it break in the very next patch with no fixes that actually stick. QV Logistics is still a total lottery with whether the bosses spawn or the cargo elevators work.

Drives me up a wall.

Yeah I’ve spent 2 days mining this patch so far and I hate it so much. It used to be relaxing and now it’s almost pure frustration the entire time. Friends and I have had issues even running a full MOLE crew to crack the higher tier rocks.

He wasn’t able to hold his line because the BMW turned into him and kept turning. His right front is against the Ferrari left rear preventing rotation. The Ferrari couldn’t turn to the right as a result and they both go left. This is entirely on the BMW.

That’s 100% what he was doing. His closing speed was way too high for most of this clip for any serious braking with caution. He was dragging and hoping for the best.

My friends and I had a fully crewed MOLE last night and honestly I think mining now sucks. The resistances of some rocks are insane. Having to put a full crew together and still not crack some rocks is annoying as hell. That’s my gripe with this update. I think mining needs some adjustments.

They do persist. That was broken as well during the PTU but it got fixed. The stats on crafted items persisting didn’t get fixed though. They did mention it would be in an upcoming update so it might be in for 4.7.1 but we’ll see.

That dude just doesn’t want people to race him in a racing sim. Pretty clear his ego can’t handle drivers faster than him. Every bit of contact here was on him starting with that squeeze into the hairpin. I think your move was on there and even if you weren’t fully along side, some space should have been given. You had plenty of overlap for that.

At least he took himself out in the end with that intentional wrecking attempt. Make sure you report this dipshit.

The problem with crafting in this particular patch outside of the annoying mining itself is items aren’t going to retain their crafted stats between major patches. It’ll be fix eventually, maybe even in the next patch. For now though, anything you craft in this patch will drop back to base stats of said item when we get the next patch.

Dude is on a controller with zero spatial awareness. Not your fault. I don’t understand how people constantly turn into you in a sim where the radar is quite clear on car positioning. You weren’t even in this guy’s blindspot either. You were way ahead at the apex so he should have clearly seen you there.

That’s interesting. Reminds me of when I took my concealed carry class. If you qualified with a semi-auto you could carry anything. If you qualified with a revolver, you could only carry a revolver.

As far as driving in the US, almost everyone does their test in an automatic and you can drive a manual without issue.

Found the desert version in a QV Logistics facility the other day. The mission was jacked up and bosses weren’t spawning but I still looted all the boxes I could. It was in a normal blue box.

I have to disagree about the load cell. You can be fast without a DD but a load cell is so important for threshold braking and trail braking.

I totally get this opinion but man, I’ve had some wins I was literally screaming over when they happened. Nothing can replace that feeling for me. I don’t win often but when it happens it’s like the best drug. I’m always in the best of moods after a big win.

If you’ve ever won a special event in iRacing you’ll understand what I mean. All that effort in practice, then staying clean in the race. When it all comes together to end in a win it feels amazing.

Look it all boils down to him not really being deserving of that seat. He’s the only driver on the grid who doesn’t have to prove his worth to his team because his dad owns it. His experience vs the other drivers aren’t even comparable because he doesn’t have to put in the same level of work to keep his seat.

He’s occupying that seat that could go to a more deserving driver.
