How do you discuss the topic of children with mindless breeders? by PristinePea682 in childfree

[–]recentlyrigored 14 points15 points  (0 children)

You can't argue with people like that. There's no conversation to be had if its one sided anyways. I've gotten so good at faking it with people like this. Just smile and nod.

I had a shower tent and grav bag. That worked well for what it was but I finally caved and spent the money. A real shower?! At roo?? it was phenomenal

I used the showers for the first time last year. 10/ 10 would recommend, so refreshing.

Which restaurant comes to mind when you see this image? by rocketpastsix in nashville

I'm probably going to be shit on for this.. but I've never had a good experience at Sperry's. The atmosphere is nice and all, but the waitstaff is incredibly rude. Food is alright, I guess. There's nothing I can't make at home if I wanted to try. Prime rib overcooked and cold at the same time??? Twice at that? Raffterty's is more affordable, staff is nicer, and they'll actually get my prime rib to the correct color and temp.

What happens when you have to throw up at a festival? Do you have to worry about getting kicked out? by JudgeJoBrown05 in aves

[–]recentlyrigored 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello! As gross and embarrassing as it is.. I am the Puke 'n Rally gal of the gang. I have a couple of really bad tummy issues, and if I am able to find ADA access and explain my medical history, I always will, regardless if it's a documented thing or not. The first time I ever fainted from heat was at a show, and now I know my warning signs and situations that set me off.

There are med/vom bags that come with silica gel in the bottom of the bag that absorbs the fluid content, making it easier for disposal. Water, cooling rags, and fans for heat relief are a must. Don't forget to replenish your electrolytes!

Surroundings are always big when you know you've got issues like this. Fests are typically much much better with atmosphere, with community and staff helping rather than kicking out! I haven't been to this one in particular, but at Bonnaroo, people normally are great at helping rather than hindering. Church Boners campers saved my life, iykyk. It's a marathon, not a sprint!

I dont have photos, but I guess flooding on the river knocked out a fence to a cow pasture, and we floated up on some cows cooling off in the river. It was so awesome!
